Joyce , I can't see why he wouldn't. From what I've seen of it, it's beautiful.

Just read my friends got Silver in Floral Marquee. I hope they're not disappointed.

Knowing folk who've exibited there: nothing but Gold matters. ( remember Dan Pearson going off in a huff after his silver gilt and not coming back for years? )

I hope my friends aren't despondent.  They knew everything came on early so they'd be struggling.

Terrible news from Manchester.  Despicable attack on innocents. Barbaric.

There was a dry, Provence garden last year or the year before that people like MD raved over.  I loathed it.  The quarry garden is the same for me - too much hard stuff and not enough plants, let alone flowers.

Congrats to Liri and son and DIL.  Lovely news for all concerned.

    Happy birthday Clari.

I need a post lunch snoozle after being shouted at by a pair of hoopoes from very early on.

Right, I've finished planting about 30 pots of alliums and about 70 penstemon which had to be halted yesterday evening image

We've had a little rain overnight which always helps new planting.

I'm off on coal face duties at 2 and Hubby is weeding the Hosta tunnel ( suits his OCD as he likes things looking perfect )

I've just had an email from my friend at Chelsea  she " just missed out on a silver gilt, the judges loved the staging and said they'd welcome her back"

She says she's on TV later talking to the divine James Wong. Must catch it on iPlayer later.

Brilliant news Hosta!  Hope she's feeling chuffed to bits!!! image

I've set Tivo to record James Wong etc this afternoon image

I've just potted on ten pots of basil and some other bits and pieces.  I think I need to plant out some echinacea into the front garden this afternoon ..........
