I'm visiting Wonky tomorrow so I've potted on some tomatoes and courgettes for her and sorted out some other seedlings. Also a big stack of GW mags, The Garden etc, and tonight OH and I will, somehow, insert our BBQ into the car boot, now that Wonky no longer has her fire pit.
While I was out there potting on the toms we had a lovely gentle shower of warm rain ... the weather is definitely improving ... and it seems that I timed the lawn applied treatment yesterday perfectly

Hello all. I've got back into the bad habit of reading and not posting (waiting until I have something to say / time to say it). Which means I think I've responded to stuff when I haven't. So I am sorry if I miss people out - it doesn't mean I am not thinking of you or havent thought of you, I just havent said it 'out loud'...
Anyway - good to hear about your new job, Clari - hope you're kicking back and relishing being 'outta there' by now!
Punkdoc, great to see you back and sorry to hear about your posterior. Glad that the garden is working its magic already.
Fairy and Hosta, we have now watched 2 series of LoD - how stressful was that?!!? But they don't have series 3 or 4 on Netflix so there will be a hiatus before the next one. Probably for the best, although I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said about it.
I'm sure there were other things but my mind has gone blank.
Built some metal shelves for the new greenhouse and am gradually moving things in there. Treating it as more of a cold frame at the moment as there's big gaps to fill where it meets (or rather doesn't meet) the fence at the moment. Still gets pretty warm in there but is a tad draughty too. We've had a bit of rain but not enough - nothing in any rain shadow got damp at all and I only got a watering can and a half out of the water butt. Lovely and sunny again now!
See you all later - have a good weekend.

The sun is out then it's not. . . . can't make up it's mind. It's quite muggy so won't be surprised if we get some thunder later.
Clari, treat yourself to a meal (that you haven't had to cook) and a glass of something to celebrate
Not long now Clari before you experience that feeling of freedom. At least you'll be warmer in the new job if nothing else.
Lots of rain this morning
The garden already looks better for it.
Have been out and run quite a few errands, it was quite nice walking in the rain.

The rain has arrived. It's pretty much chucking it down. No complaints here as it's long overdue.
Wish it would rain here, everything looks so dry. Has there been any rain whilst I was away?
Lovely few hours in the greenhouse, potting on seedlings, I could feel the tension just oozing out of me.
Looking forward to a drink, none allowed where I was.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
with your lacerations, I hope it was just tension oozing
No rain for weeks, we have all been watering! We are entertaining this weekend so it's certain to rain.
Greenhouses and dogs are tension relievers for me. I have always called my gh my therapy room
have had a lovely wee tootle down to Rockcliffe, the country is looking really good
just 45 mins to go?

Only very soft rain here ....... so far ........... the weather man said it won't rain here overnight so I've hung washing out to prove him wrong

LG ... sometimes I've actually said it 'out loud' but not typed it
