Good morning Dove and all others.

The forecasters have said it will be a warmer, dry week up here image

Hope those of you in need of rain get it, preferably during the night.

    Happy May Day,

face washed, May pole awaiting and shorts looked out, surely it will be summer soon?

Greenhouse beckons today as body stiff from all the weekend work

oh making noises about going out for lunch, could be tempted.

hope everyone who is retired remembers it is a "holiday Monday" ?

Joyce image We've had some soft steady rain here since the early hours of this morning ... It's drying up now so hopefully I can get into the garden a bit later on - the grass needs cutting and the seedlings in the veg patch need weeding ...

Bank holiday Monday?   Every day is a holiday now I am retired.  image   My job meant that I never had a bank holiday off ever.  If your shift took in a Monday, you worked it!

I'm confused ... Workers get an extra day off ...some of us are retired - where's our extra day? imageimage
