    Morning all

gorgeous sunny morning here , but far from warm.

Pressure washing the terrace today before the agapanthus come out of the tunnel.

    Hello everyone!

It's a lovely warm sunny morning, with nice views from the train - I'm going to see Mum.  Sister is off out today (leading a nature walk on Holy Island) so I'll miss seeing her again - but I know a good spot near the Home to eat my picnic lunch & feed the birds.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hello Dove, Chicky and Fairy. The day turned out well. Sunny and not windy.

I checked the veggie bed when I got home from town. No need to cover the tomatoes and zucchinis anymore - they've had it.   image   I've picked a large bowl of green tomatoes, so I might be starting the pickles  tomorrow - not my very favourite job, but it's worth the two day effort to get more preserves into the cupboard.

Havent heard the news about vineyards getting frosted over there, Dove, but I sympathise. Darned weather.

I'm trying Hosta image. Electric blanket on bed, wood heater in lounge room, dressed in hand knitted top and warm trousers.  Also fingers crossed.

Morning all. Just as chilly here as at Dove's.

Friends are coming to stay for a couple of days. Must deal with the guest room. Going out to a local pub for dinner this evening.

Tennis, Dove? Is your shoulder completely better now? Doc says I will never play tennis again image

16C here and sunny.  No rain expected before Saturday and very little breeze so I shall take advantage and spray the nasties in the graveled area.   Can't hoe them out as the gravel is actually stone chunks of uneven size and shape and too solid feeling.  Lots of horrors with deep tap roots too.

Once that's done we're off to the Troc to look at oak, cherry and old pine wardrobes I can do up for Possum's room and the guest room and then we shall turn our attention to the rose bed.

Not sure about pickling smells but the scent of my recent attempt at apple mint jelly was luscious.
