I saw that Chicky, fantastic news.

When are we going to have more tidal wave power ?

    See original post

We're an island surrounded by water - and plenty of wind. It's not rocket science is it? I think we're too slow about putting these things in place, and so many people moan about all these other forms of energy which isn't helpful.  We need to get smarter about it. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Clari ....... OH has just finished watering all the plants and putting the babies outside ........ now he's got them back in 'cos the sky's gone black, there's lightning and the Gods are moving the furniture around up there .............. sorry, don't think we'll get your washing dry until this has passed over.

OH is going to put my kaftan in the washing machine ... I was wearing it when I fell flat on my face .... the front of it is covered with pigeon poo! image

Dove it's now what can only be described as furious sun shine; the kind that burns your toes through your shoes.

Everything has been thrown into the line we'll see how well it goes!

Guess I'll have to get my own cake ;) Glad to see your OH is so well trained. You must give us tips!

Thanks all for the welcome back. Been in the wilderness for a bit but back on course now tho. Very muggy here today cloud slowly building so may well get a light n sound show later. Fairy, yes the walk still on but my knees keep playing up but trying to build up their strength so I don't need to use the braces.

Hello all, 11th Grandchild was born early this morning! They've called her after me but not quite so we don't get confused - Elise.

I'm very behind in the garden because of going to England in May. I'm frantically trying to get stuff planted in the veg garden today in case I go to see the new little one very soon. Son and DIL live 5 hrs drive away. She's their third daughter. I'm planting out the runner beans, tomatoes, red peppers, broccoli, lettuces. Then all the flower beds but one need weeding (but that will have to wait) and plants I've grown and the rest of the ones I bought in England need planting, 4 clematis as well. Nearly finished all the annuals in the pots. House is full of cobwebs.

Thanks Joyce. So long as the cobwebs don't get in my hair, they aren't the pretty sort they're fluffy and messy!

11?! Gosh Lizzie!! Glad she arrived safely, I hope mum is doing okay.

Has the sun come over to you Dove? It's just gone dark here; very wind and warm mind so I'm hanging on bringing everything back in til the last minute!

His lordship is back in the country. Sadly with all that s gone on I worry more for his final stretch of the journey than ever I did while he was 10,000 miles away. BA computer system going down certainly hasn't helped. I do feel for all those families going away for the half term to be effectively stranded at the airports the staff unable to do anything.

I'm declaring it too warm to iron shirts, so if he asks tell him I only washed them today and gosh they dried quickly ;)
