Morning Chicky, hope you Dad is on the mend now image

Pat, rest your shoulder, keep warm!

Dove, glad yucky ear is getting  better!

Scratched my eyeball yesterday whilst weeding a pointy palm, bit blinky and weepy today image

Thanks Wonky. My sympathies for the eye. I've done that a couple of times. The trouble is that when my cataracts were removed, the Dr put in long distance lenses, so I need glasses for cloSe-up vision, and when I'm bending over something in the garden, I have to be aware of what might give me a poke on the eye.  Keep it clean. Hope your hands are a bit better, too.

Wonky!  Safety goggles when doing that in future!

Does the family have children visit the garden? If so it might be an idea to snip the very ends off the leaves?

Morning all/afties Pat - hope you're taking it easy today. You're coming up for 28 remember...image

Hope your first day goes well Clari image

Just watching the breakfast news earlier on beeb 1 and our main ribbon supplier was on. It reminded me of a phone conversation my colleague last week with them. The red that we used has the name 'passion'......

L - 'can you tell me if the ribbon's been dispatched?

Cole - yes , most of it'

    L - 'what's missing? It's passion I'm desperate for......'

It took her a few seconds to realise why we were all laughing. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Hi all.

Been raining for 24 hours now, I should be more careful what I wish for.

Lots to do in the greenhouse, so that should keep me out of trouble.

    Good luck today Clari.

Hope the ear is better Dove.

Cooked Salsify for the first time last night and have to say it was rather nasty, anyone know a way to make it tasty?

    Morning all.

What a bunch of chatterboxes you are.

SSE coming this morning to check out if anything dodgy is happening with our power supply ( is it going to the barn across the road? )

    Pouring with rain here too.

I'm off to collect more free tomatoes via freecycle after the "leccy" guys have been then coal face at 2pm. Hopefully the rain will have eased by then.

    Good luck Clari.

Dove,  eeeewwwww ( in a warm, loving way)

Pat, take it easy, you too Wonky.

    Devon.
