Only 4C less than us!  Don't knock it.  This may be your summer!

    gggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

SSE were due between 8 and 12. I was in the tunnel at 12.15 and saw him leave.

Phoned..... he'll come back. He came back. Same guy as last week " I'm wasting your time,I'm not here to do what needs to be done "

Phoned again. I'll look into it and call you back.

I have to be at work at 2. and I've wasted a whole morning faffing about indoors waiting for them.

Dove, that's 10 degrees hotter than it is in my"hot" tunnel.

    Wanna swap?

Not really Hosta, thanks all the same ......... but I think we might be building up to a thunderstorm ... it's warm enough to leave the toms outside in a sheltered spot, but I don't want them getting bashed about by the rain and hail.  I'll have to try to find room for them at night in the little lean-to greenhouse somehow ... unless they can go in one of your polytunnels Hosta ? image

SSE have called back, again. I'm being passed onto " Senior complaints manager" who will call in the morning.

    Watch this space.

    Right, coal face beckons.

Dove, can you arrange an umbrella over them?

The wind's a bit swirly today, I think umbrellas and parasols may end up doing a Mary Poppins ... if they won't fit into the little greenhouse then they'll have to go into the studio overnight ... just for the duration of the promised deluge ............ OH won't have to mind .......... they'll be in my bit of space image

Besides, he's drawing different leaves at the moment ................it'll be helpful won't it image

Let's hope a move up the ladder helps you get the problem identified Hosta.

Ever wondered what you'd make with a 3D printer?  I've seen stories about plastic guns in the USA, bone replication to help with graft operation in the UK and what does Belgium do?  Chocolate of course - https://all3dp.com/3d-printed-chocolate-miam-factory-belgium-mouthwatering/ including a chocolate beer bottle!

Cosmos has now come indoors - to wash his ears.   I'm off to weed the silk tree bed.

I think dill is quite heat tolerant, Obelixx.  Easy from seed.  It doesn't like being transplanted though - tends to bolt.  I let some of mine flower because the insects love the yellow flowers, hoverflies especially; it freezes ok, which is great cos I love it in salmon dishes, having been introduced to it in Finland years ago.

Hope they start taking you seriously at SSE, Hosta.

27 is a bit hot for May, Dove...  image

That's good Liri.  I love making gravadlax with lots of dill.  Used to get it in huge bunches from the Moroccan chappies in Belgium markets.  Haven't see it here yet.

Too hot for weeding so waiting an hour or so in order to avoid frazzle.

    We love gravadlax image

Hurrah!   I've fitted all the tomatoes and courgettes into the little greenhouse ... I'll leave the doors open a good bit and the roof too so they don't swelter ...

    OH would love a 3D printer ........
