    Morning all!

    Apologies for my absence; I hope you didn't miss me too much.

    A few good news stories for you

    1. we have paint on all the right walls! This weekend we will start tidying up for the radiators to be fitted and might even be venturing to Ikea for furnishings. His lordship wants to look at things like rugs, lampshades... we'll soon have a home again.

    2. today I am marching up my boss and (with the flourish you'd expect from me) handing my resignation letter. 

    So; what have I missed from you lot? :)
