That's disgusting LG. I'd be throwing emails off to anyone who would listen; MPs and press included. It may not be for millions but that doesnt ignore the fact that they have broken the terms of your (legally binding) contract.

     Totally agree!!!

I chose to remain in Unison after retirement (free) ... it may be that  you also have that option.

It is outrageous but, it seems, all too common.

Changing the subject completely, here's a pic of part of yesterday's plant fair at Vouvant.

Those red/bronze phormiums in the foreground were going for 39€!!  I paid between 2€ and 5€ for all my treasures.

LG  ... why not contact HMRC for advice ... they should have completed the PAYE forms and forwarded them to HMRC on the appropriate dates .......

    No wages here; no surprise!

Tonight I'm getting scouts to set fire to things, make me a birthday cake, roast their own hot dogs, and convince their parents that it was all okay as they are healthily by consuming bananas (covered in copious chicolate)

oh; and make some ice cream.

Oh; it's also World Environment day. Not sure how I can squeeze that in to our session of burning things!

Sunscreen, sun hat if you feel the need.  Gardening before noon and after 4pm.  Lots of fluids.

Enjoy while it lasts.  It might be your summer!

Perhaps they could set fire to your former boss, Clari.....image

LG - that's a disgrace, though not surprising. When the cooncil took money from my account they shouldn't have (long story) I was told I'd have to wait six weeks to have it back. I told them that wasn't good enough, and I'd be adding the interest on, plus getting a lawyer involved. Back in my account a few days later.

Thank heaven I live in Scotland. I can't do that kind of temp. image

Sorry - crowds of any kind are too much for me. Spent too many years traipsing round agricultural shows. If I never saw another person again, I could be quite happy...ok, maybe not quite.... image

If I'm honest - I don't really like garden shows anyway. I like looking at other people's photos , so feel free to keep attending and I'll just ' borrow' them image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
