hi Dove. 4pm here and managed to find a few more roses that hadn't succumbed to the frost. They are now enjoying some sugared water inside.image

If we can just make it through without a small child exploding or a teacher slamming a child's hand in the toilet door I'll be happy.

Sydneygardener - Hello.   You should start a new thread about your jacaranda as this is a chat thread not read by everyone who might be able to advise you.  I found this info - http://homeguides.sfgate.com/plant-jacaranda-tree-62815.html which would indicate they need a deep root run and will grow to 60' high and also very wide so not suitable for a pot.

Cool and grey and damp here this morning.  Promises of serious rain have been downgraded to local showers so, of course, OH and dogs have just come in soaked form early walkies before he goes off to golf.    I have been awake since 6 thanks to Cosmos in cuddle mode so plan on doing a bit of painting upstairs and then probably having a snoozle when I fade.  Need to be perky for dance class this evening.

Clari - hope it goes well today.   Wonky - think about pacing yourself so you'r e not too exhausted to enjoy your free time.   Pat - glad you could rescue some roses.  Busy - have a safe drive across to Malvern.

Happy Thursday everyone, whatever you're up to.
