OO - Dove. Not good, but at least you have a diagnosis, so you know what NOT to do. Hope you can ease the discomfort.

Bed time here, so night all.

    night night Pat.

I spoke to the couple in the annexe this morning and told them I was adding £30 a month to their electricity contribution. As luck would have it , the flippin' tumble dryer was going AGAIN.

" It's down to that thing I'm afraid. There's really no need for them in this weather"

    " yeah , but it's easier"

Fine, another £30 a month  for us towards the bill.

Hosta I really don't know what to say the level of laziness some people have destroys me.

Unfortunately expect your bill to go up even further now as I fear they will have the kind of mentality that sits right next to "well I paid for it so I'll use it".

    Hi all.

Beautiful day, no gardening other than moving a few Cannas and Dahlias to where I might eventually plant them.

I would be more than happy to act as unofficial site doctor. There would of course be fees involved, plants and cakes should fit the bill.

Interesting you should mention feet, as for some strange reason, I would look at some ones feet when we were treating them for some horrible trauma and think, uurghh, they might have washed before they went out.

How can you lie there and think of England

    Hot afternoon greetings!

Had to go & do stuff today, including taking cat for blood tests.  We couldn't take her back home straight away because they had to leave her to calm down, while they patched up the vet nurse...  image

Rotten news Dove.  Though at least, with a boot or plaster and a zimmer frame, everyone will believe you're hurt... not like back ache, where nobody can see what you've done to yourself.  Hope the pain eases very soon.  I love planting out runner beans, but... well, it's not as far away as Fairy's kingdom, but not exactly close...

Clari, I told her we're having a smart meter installed next month so we can monitor it daily.

If she carries on taking the P, it'll go up again. I'm not paying for their laziness. I know they're young and it's their first place, but they really do need to learn.

Quite right Hosta. Everyone has to learn, no shame in that. But they won't learn if you're paying.

Dove - well you made a proper job of that image. You'll need to rig up a hose attachment for the zimmer....

We've been to the beach today image Well the thing with an English summer - you never know if there'll be another hot sunny day like today, so we thought we'd make the most of it. The privileges of being your own boss.....
