    Gorgeous pic Pat  image

Is that the normal time for them to grow with you?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I guess so Fairy. They just live in that pot and get a squirt of water now and then image. I've also got neglected tulips showing shoots in another pot.

In the GH, one of my tubs suddenly developed Capsicum leaves a few months ago, so I kept on giving it a drink and low and behold, there are fat green fruit on them. I'm not sure if they'll turn red before it gets too cold for them, but Hubby assures me he can use them green if necessary.

The strawberry plants I left in there are still giving the odd bit of fruit, so I've not put them outside yet.

I should add that those Capsicum plants appeared in that tub which has had Streptocarpus plants in there for years. I've no idea where the Capsicum came from. I moved the Streptocarpus plants into other pots and they are looking rather happier than before. Amazing what some new compost and a bit of space  can do.

Sorry to fill you site with photos, but it's nearly June, so it's probably OK.

here are the much happier pots of  Streptocarpus with a pot each instead of sharing.

Makes a difference when they get some fresh soil to grow in, doesn't it!

Funny how your strawbs still have a few fruit, and ours are just about to start. I have quite a few with some green fruits growing, although that's very early for them here. I wouldn't expect mine to be at that stage fro a while yet. HOpefully I can keep the birds and slugs off them  image

Fairy I really thought you would be asleep by now. I hope you can have a good Sunday to recover.

We went out the back for more firewood this afternoon and Hubby had just taken the chainsaw out and got it going when his fire brigade pager went off. image Anyway, instead of ignoring it, he listened to the message and there was a  MVA and someone was trapped in their car. So, back into the ute, down the hill to the house again, rang the office and eventually got told they were ok for people. So, back up the hill again and an hour's chainsawing and loading wood into the trailer  and now we're back. Worn out, but not much I can complain about really. I assume we will eventually hear more about it in good time.

The black cockatoos have been carrying on loudly all afternoon, so the prediction of rain and maybe snow could just possibly be correct for a change.

    Hi all.

A bit of " hostaitis " this morning. Could not sleep, so have been in the summer house drinking coffee since 4.

Expecting thunderstorms today, no doubt resulting in multiple plant collapses.

Just done a very successful slug and snail hunt, they are loving this humidity.

fairy Scotland looks gorgeous at the moment and R4 is just telling us about the lovely weather there at the moment

Morning all. Been absent for a wee while but like the proverbial bad penny I always turn up. How is everyone. Well I hope.
