Evening all. Glad you're home more or less in one piece, Punkdoc.

We had a lovely day at the Malvern Show. Bought several plants, our friends bought a garden shed! Well, ordered it. Saw James Alexander Sinclair, Carol Klein and Jo Swift. It poured twice, once when we were in the Floral Art marquee and again when we were in the big Floral Pavilion,so we didn't get wet. I can't post photos until next week when we are back in France and I have my own laptop instead of this iPad of OH's.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It looked like a great show, BL - and so lucky with the timed downpours! What did you get?

Dove, I was watching GW with my brother and having said "Oooh lovely" about that little anemone, I found myself grabbing his arm and saying "I want one!" when that gorgeous epimedium appeared. In fact, I don't just want one, I NEED one.

Well if I say so myself, that was a lovely dinner.

Prawn and mussel  risotto and a bottle of Cremant de Loire.

Did not see GW, as OH has been watching Masterchef and wanted to watch the final.

You deserve so much more Clari.

Hi Edd. As usual you appear just when I think everyone has gone to bed, so I've been outside hanging washing on the line in case the forecast for Sunday rain is correct for a change.image

i saw the TV report about the sharks last night. I always think, well you're in THEIR environment, so what else do you expect, if you go there. This is spoken by a girl who grew up on the coast and knew better than to put herself in such danger. image

I hope you and your family are well.

Hello Pat and everyone image It's an absolutely beautiful morning ... and although I left a line of washing out it hasn't rained ... I may need to water the lawn tomorrow if we've not had more rain by then to dissolve the weed & feed on the front lawn.
