    good morning,

hi Pat, sorry you have had early frosts and lost a lot. I was given a bag of freesia bulbs yesterday. The only time I ever grew them was Melbourne  what should I do with them in Scotland?

Punk early in the morning is the best time, glad you are settling back, have you done the sm? Special bottle of something with dinner?

Joyce, is it really? Gosh I hope this holds for Sunday! Folks coming for lunch and to see the garden

Dove, soft refreshing rain I would love, but hailstones will damage all the blossoms

Clari I hope they give you a wonderful party today, you so deserve it, good luck!

    WW TGIF?

Hosta did you watch the programme? Very interesting, I might buy some yogurts today!

Oh taking me to Rockcliffe today ?

Have a good day, stay safe

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

LP, enjoy your day.  Is it Rockcliffe village along the coast?  A beautiful area.

Oi, that's quite enough being rude about Bodmin. One of my Great Grandads was born there before moving to Jersey. He was one of 17 children though so there may be some truth in the stories.

We've had a little bit of rain but not enough to be useful so fingers crossed for more. Happy gardening or whatever else you're planning.

Lilyp, I brought my Freesia bulbs with me from Melbourne when we moved back here. None of them survived the first winter image. Have you got a GH or somewhere warmish? I love the perfume and was very sorry to lose them.

LP, she loves mussels, so trip to fishmonger is called for and very little cooking required, so a win win situation.

Might have to splash out on some bubbles too.

Good luck today Clari, glad you are leaving that job.

How can you lie there and think of England

Welcome home Punkdoc and Hosta Hugs from me to you and Mrs P.

LP, I did watch it last night. A bit depressing to find much of it is genetic and the other health implications.

Can I just say,  it was prEbiotic supplements , not prObiotic yogurts he was taking. I think I might look into them too .

Last night's rain did not materialise so I'm glad I stuck it out with the sprinkler.

A day in the tunnel , once I get my hair cut.

Oh showed me the receipt for the tomatoes from Homebase. They seem to have missed the 3 packs of white gladies he had.

Morning all. Glad to see you back P'doc. You need to behave now and not cause Mrs P any more stress.

Raining here and more forecast so the water butt   should get a refill.  Lots of jobs to do that I have been saving for a rainy day. Catch you later.

    Not that I'm counting.

I don't have to: thanks to the internet I have a huge count down timer on my laptop!

That made me laugh Clari. By the time I've answered this it'll be even closer. Good luck to you.

    Happy Friday everyone.

Just doing some forum-ing and plant identification reading as a displacement activity as have some 'homework' to do.

Welcome home Punkdoc! Injury sounds like a right pain in the...

Pleased to see the garden has been thorough watered, including the pond and water butts. I might actually be able to get my spade into the rockery soil to plant some geraniums now.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
