I've just sneezed 11 times in succession ... don't think I should go looking for dust ...

Hubbys back and neck seem to be OK this morning. I gave it a good rub with ibuprofen gel last night.

Waiting for the claim handler to ring back.

  • Hope it all gets sorted out smoothly Fidget image

belated hugs to Fidget and OH.

Another lovely day here. 26C forecast so heading to the beach, again.

Mercifully, not a sniff of the C word here, no tinsel, fairy lights but lots and lots of fat jolly men.

The whole " phone" thing is worse than ever. Last night we sat in the lobby and there was a row of 3 tables next to us, 6 couples, 5 of them playing on their phones and a very grumpy looking wife being ignored.

    Hi all.

Suffering with Hosta's lack of sleep, 3 nights now  so feeling a bit wretched.

I hate mobile phones with a vengeance, maybe it was 25 years of having to be available constantly for work, so now I rarely remember to take mine out with me.

Should be outside doing stuff, but just can't be bothered at the moment.

Is anyone watching The Enemy Within series at the moment. I am not sure quite what to make of it.

Hope OH is ok this morning fidget.

    Hello all.

12C when we got home from dance class at 10h30 last night and still mild today but it's gone grey again and the air feels damp.   I have had a lazy morning after an interrupted night (Hosta-itis?) and will have a quiet afternoon with just a few errands to run while OH goes and practices his golf.

They've put the C lights up in Mouthiers now and on Sunday there's a C market in the old market - 40 stone pillars, timber roof frame and terracotta tiles so gorgeous.  Tiny town tho so not expecting much of the market and no sign of any locals decorating houses yet.

Hope OH is really OK Fidget and that you soon settle down with your new meds Pat.

Anyone got plans for the weekend or is it just time to snuggle up and hide from the weather?

Thanks Obelixx. I'm a bit better tonight thanks. I even managed to eat a reasonable helping of dinner.  Mornings seem to be the worst. (Morning sickness ???).imageimage

    Morning all (just!)image

After a frosty start it's now a lovely sunny day. OH had a change of roster yesterday and ended up flying into Inverness. He phoned just to say that it was a beautiful sparkling day - excellent visibility - and there was loads of snow on the hills - very very pretty. Did I ever mention how much we love Scotland?image

I am about to head outside to clear more leaves (hopefully for the last times) and then I need to write some birthday cards and sort out some online shopping (for me not C..s presents).

Glad Mr Fidget seems to be ok - guess we need to wait a few days before he can be given the all clear but sounds promising for the moment.

Fidget - you thought he might have lost a day's work on his laptop. If it's not too mashed somewhere like PC World might be able to remove the hard drive and copy stuff across for you. Don't know for sure but might be worth investigating if it there is a lot of stuff on there. Just a thought.
