Hot and windy here today. Hubby took his drone out the back to one of our dams and got a few shots. This one shows that the water level is dropping - not so good at the beginning of summer. Still, we don't have goats anymore, so the Roos, wallabies, wombats and wood ducks can just manage what they can. image The dark colour is possibly a combination of typical eucalyptus area run-off and yabbies stirring things up.

Hope you all have a good day when you wake.

It would probably help if I attached the photo. image Der! Sometimes I wonder about my brain.

  • G'day Pat image What a fantastic picture!  The drone must've been up quite high.

I'm reliably informed that the drone was 15 metres up.

Dove I meant to say that I keep thinking about that lovely photo of your parents. Your father's hand looks so protective and caring to her. Really lovely memory for you to have.

    Morning allimage

Lizzies ponies popping round to say hello made me smileimage  Glad they did not go further afield.

Hoping its a nice day out there - can't see yet - want to march to Windsor at lunchtime, and that is always nicer in the dry???

All  photos are double backed up, on a computer and on a separate hard drive. TiVo box records telly, so I've lost a couple of series that I was saving. I tend to watch in blocks like box sets, some things are just too long otherwise. I did finish poldark, and Him. I've lost all the gardening programmes I'd saved and a few films that will probably be repeated anyway.

    Morning all.

Well I survived the school groups, had a great night with the brownies, all made better by taking time to leave the museum to go for a walk. I tried the Christmas market but poor doesn't cover it. So instead I wandered happily around the cathedral. I'm not overly religious but the architecture is amazing. For my sanity I've decided that when I need a break I'm going there; it's 5 minutes walk and so much nicer to be in than the museum.

Very tired today as my tracking alarm went off at 01:00. At night the alarm calls the landline and my mobile; naturally waking the dog, to alert me that the truck has moved our of its safe zone.

She definately hadn't the satellites must have jumped slightly but you can imagine trying to settle after that burst of adrenaline (& the dog on high alert mode). Today I only have the one class, some police dogs, so I'm hoping an early finish.

Keep safe everyone; lots of tea required today!

  • Hello you lot image  The blinds are open and I can see it's a grey and still morning. The pampas grass in the garden over the way is hardly moving.
