We bought them over the counter in , sorry, Tesco . No prescription required but we did have to make an appointment and have a chat with the pharmacist.
Total cost for us both for a 28 day holiday , £102
His lordship is working late and the dog is already sulking despite the visit to the garage with ALL the smells (dropped the car off for an MOT at a station that must feed 30 of so stray cats) and a long walk home.
I need to go shopping for essential ingredients to fill the fridge. Why aren't the neighbours children old enough to run errands??
Keep warm everyone! Inside the house is10'C and falling.
You're a nice hubby Doc - unfortunately (fortunately?) my fat little feet don't really fit into red (or any other 'special' colour) soled shoes..
Hosta - I know very little about these things but have you had to take meds for most of your winter sun holidays? Do you think they could have had anything to do with disturbed sleep? One friend had a terrible psychotic reaction to anti-malarials and (although she stopped taking them straightaway) it took some time to sort her out. Just thinking about cumulative effects etc.
Silver linings Clari - with those temps you nearly don't need a fridge...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I took Malarone for PNG, and had no side effects whatsoever. Take with food at breakfast time each day. Lariam has a lot of psych side effects, not many recommend it now. Its cheaper than Malarone, but If you are paying a fortune for a long haul holiday, why spoil it or a few pounds.?
I have to take Doxycycline as malarial prophylaxis, but that is due to psychiatric type problems with Larium and resistance to Malarone in some of the places I have visited.
A very interesting thing has just happened. Most of you know about my neighbour problems, well about 2 hours ago loud knock on the door, 13 year old son of NDNs standing there, "I feel really ill, can you help"
Got him in, had a chat and a quick exam, found his heart rate was about 170, also realised he stank of dope.
Asked where his mum was, he didn't know and she wasn't answering her phone, any way I decided he needed an ambulance, although by the time they arrived, he was settling down.
Saddest thing was, when I asked him, he was quite open about using dope.
I didn't go with the ambulance as I was happy he was getting better.
Am now awaiting repercussions.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
My mum found a couple of neighbours kids in a field while she was walking the dog. They had been glue sniffing. Anyway, as they couldn't stand, she stayed with them till they could walk, then took them home and poured tea down them until they seemed normal, then sent them home. They seemed to have learnt a lesson, and were ok after that.
I expect your neighbours will be awkward punkdoc. Damned if you do, damned if you don't
In from my hectic day, not quite sure how I managed to squeeze everything in in but I did, including 30 lengths of the pool (normally do 40), but missed lunch to do that. Anyway, home now, with Charlie, just caught the end of Masterchef, what a good programme, and am now watching first episode of a new drama, Close to the Enemy - see what it's like.
Punkdoc, I think you are a superhero in every way.
Clari, I think you are a Superhero too, not sure how you get through each day.
Lizzie, I'm still very keen on that property but they won't budge from 100,00€, I won't budge from 90,000€. I'm playing the waiting game - hate it!
Right ought to concentrate on this programme.
Night all.

Can I be cheeky Hosta and ask which anti-malarials you take, professional curiosity and because I am always taking them for various trips.

Glad to hear that Hosta - the last thing you need is damn great grups (East Anglian term) filling up with water over the winter.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
" generic" malarone punkdoc. " Mafamoz"
