Your stories don't surprise me. The attitude of some parents on a trip make me wonder who is meant to be looking after who. But I'll not recount the worst of my experiences; the grinding of my teeth upsets the dog.

Wow, page 3 on day one!  Well done everybody. It's so good to see so many of you back as well as the new ones. Lots of interesting reading. I must say that the idea of taking groups of school children on excursions slightly horrifies me. I simply could not do it. Hats off in a salute to those of you who have.

clear sunny day after a very cool start but at least I've got a few loads of washing on the line.

Id better let you get some sleep. Night all.

    Morning all.

Here we go again??image I start work at 7 so hopefully I'll get more sleep before that.

My experience of kids in Waitrose confirms my respect for teachers who have to deal with them all their working lives.

I'm super snake-twitchy today for some reason. Every stick I see gets stared at in case it has a head or if it moves.  I'm really worried for HRH more than myself. I know to stand still, but I can't warn her to "stay"because she wouldn't hear me. image

Hi folks, not sure whether to say good morning or good evening! At firstborns on nanna duty and not sleeping.

Both daughters son in law and hubby teach at secondary schools and some of the stories I hear are unbelievable so non of the above surprise me.

It was me that visited Scotney.  Watched the programme but didn't spot myself.

Enjoy your hols (can't remember who  was going now)

glad you are enjoying new job Wonky.

    Morning again.

Went back to  bed at 3 and fell asleep a while later. Up now for work. An hour drive to Barnstaple and wait for the van to be serviced. I have a flask looked out and some crosswords saved from The Times.

Money for old rope, but someone has to do it.image
