Judy Murray got to Blackpool. With that in mind, the current lot are all doing OK.
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

  • I agree both over the top and Shirley's comment was not necessary. Have always preferred Len to Shirley.
And yes after the comments was then surprised with scores. Some too high 🤷‍♀️
I enjoyed the show and liked Bobby's dance, also Nigels. A better people's choice than most.
Angela Rippon is amazing, she has so much energy for 79 too.
I liked Ellie's dance too, but Kara Tointons rumba is still my favourite.

Oops I typed this, this morning and forgot to press send 🤦🏻‍♀️
  • I think the result of the dance-off was probably fair, based on technique, but I am sorry not to be seeing the loser at Blackpool!
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
  • I agree @clematisdorset they danced so well in the dance off, a shame they didn't go through.
  • Every year I watch the first episode not knowing who is who, but each week after listening to their stories I find a favourite. Each year the question surfaces , is it an entertainment show or a dance show.... Who has improved the most, who tries the hardest...and then who wows you... ARs ability at 79 wows me, Layton wows me, and Annabelle also wows me, how can you choose a favourite...I suppose it comes down to each dance each week.

Once again, our “guess the dance off couples  based on their outfits only” strategy worked.

    SPOILER BELOW !

Craig's comments before he gave his decision on the dance off led me to believe he was going to save Krishnan. I didn't watch either dance at the time although l will play them back later today.

From what l can gather, Krishnan improved and Angela made at least one mistake (although she managed to save herself), but the 3 judges elected to save her. Only Shirley disagreed.

To be honest l'm sad that Krishnan and his "Dad dancing" won't be gracing the Tower Ballroom. His obvious joy in the whole experience made me smile and l suspect that he would then have been voted off next week.

Angela Rippon seems to go into a kind of trance the whole way through. I freely admit to fast forwarding through a lot of waffle, but l get the impression that she is just concentrating very hard on getting through the entire evening, which is fair enough.

Bobby Brazier leaves me cold l'm afraid.

As usual l agreed with a lot of Craig's remarks 😁

  • @AnniD I thought the same as you, thought Craig was going save Krishnan. Angela's heel slipped on the floor, but did save herself....possibly Kai was holding on to her too 😉  But I thought Angela would go to Blackpool because of comparing Come Dancing years ago.
Krishnan did improve in the dance off though.
  • I think the clue between Angela and Craig was when she was confirmed to be in the dance off he said I think you are absolutely fantastic, I adored this dance and I think that you will absolutely smash it.
  • Yes you're right @barry island 🤣
