  • When Craig leaves perhaps Giovanni Pernice will be the new judge?

Quite a lot if you're listening to the comments and find the accent or voice grates.   For some ears they can be painful and that has nothing to do with prejudice.

  • @Dovefromabove I have watched and enjoyed strictly from the start and well remember Darcey taking the judges chair, I also remember the way she spoke which seemed quite strange to hear the hooray Henrietta yar after every sentence which was similar to the way Trinny Woodall used to speak on her television show, of course Darcey was nervous and as she grew into the roll I'm glad to say that she dropped the yar.
  • I think everyone is entitled to be an armchair critic, nobody gets hurt within the confines of one's own living room and I do understand how annoying the idiosyncrasies of each of the judges and even some of the contestants can be. However, I think overall it's a feel good light entertainment show. A little bit of escapism. And who doesn't love shouting at a TV screen. 😅

  • Frustrated this evening because my TV signal is failing and I can't watch It Takes Two. 🙄

Frustrating @D0rdogne_Damsel .   Ours goes blippy or completely when we have thunderstorms.   In the same veing, we can only get radio signals upstairs and they go fuzzy when we have high pressure, so quite often.

@D0rdogne_Damsel perhaps getting a VPN is the way to go, we have had to do this because of poor signal, you can then watch on catch up if you are busy.

It seems to me Motsi is of the opinion that we're all hard of hearing

Today, OH's aunt paid us a visit.  When discussing Strictly, which she follows religiously, and specifically the judges, this very measured lady, could hardly hide the fact that Motsi's "constant shouting" irritated her.  She added, "the girl has a voice that can strip paint."
I've never heard the expression before but I'm sure it wasn't a compliment...

    B*ms!

I really enjoyed Ellie's dance - superb chorography and excution.  Loved Annabelle's Paso which was elegant and subtle tho I didn't like her yellow skirt.

I thought Angela's cha-cha was technically very good with excellent isolation between her upper and lower body plus amazing legs again.  For once SHirley's critique was spot on.

For once I thought Nigel did very well in a difficult dance for males.

Didn't like the almost emotional blackmail aspect of Bobby's dance and really disliked Leyton's performance.  I don't think he understands dance at all and thinks he can just get by with physical and athletic performances and he wasn't that good this week.  Shirley spot on again.

And I really hated his costume and that dreadfully cut green shirt they put on Nikita.
