  • I enjoyed the series of The Night Manager.   Wouldn't mind seeing it again.
  • OH has just informed me he was in The Night Manager if it is at all scary I don't have a clue.

I see the knives are out for Nigel Harman now that he's left.  Funny that there were no negative comments whilst he was still in the lineup.

I wasn't too impressed with all the extraneous dancers on Saturday night and thought they interfered with the view off, and appreciation for, what the competitors were doing, just as when they have fake mist round the feet and poor camera direction that stops us seeing all the body.

I'm sorry Nigel is injured and has had to leave but I think he left it very late to take the show seriously and his last dance is the only one where I thought he'd made a real attempt to learn the steps and perform the choreography with technique and flair and I don't suppose he would have lasted much longer.

I loved Ellie and Annabel's dances - great choreography and execution.  I found Bobby's performance embarassing which is a shame as he'd been improving.   Leyton was showy and dramatic as ever but, for me, a well danced Paso doesn't need all those bells and whistles to be stunning.  It's a fabulous dance in itself and can stand up to being judged as a Latin dance, not as a show dance.

As for the Night Manager, the script writer took far too many liberties with the original story by John Le Carré.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the show this evening, and for once the TV didn't buffer up and stop streaming.

No idea who will win or even who I want to win, they all seem to have so much to admire.

    We'll see what happens.

  • Enjoyed last night's show.
    I'd like Ellie to win.
  • I thought the judges were paving the way to let down gently, Annabel and Bobby while leaving some hope for Ellie and making it seem a foregone conclusion that Layton will win.

The show has lost something for me, due to various events and happenings. I do find the judges rather frustrating for a variety of reasons!
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
  • A tough one this week to select one to go out I thought they were all brilliant, a very emotional show I felt sorry for Annabel being put on the spot by Johannes in front of the nation but she just managed to keep it together, I think that whatever happens now she has got so much out of appearing on the show and being partnered with Johannes that she has won more than a glitterball.

    Great show last night
Didn’t like Laytons first dance but thought the second dance/show was brilliant , he is obviously a West End performer
Personally I would like Ellie & Vito to win 🏆
I think Annabel & Bobby have both progressed brilliantly

Tonights show is going to be interesting

I don't think the selection of dances did Annabel or Bobby any favours but I thought her Viennese waltz and his quickstep were really good and deserved better marks.   NOt enough armography in the salsa and still a problem with Bobby's hands in the paso.

I didn't like Ellie's couple's choice but she danced it well.   Despite the dreadful suits, Layton's Charleston was amazing but, whilst the rumba was technically good in terms of arms, feet and hips, I found it just too hard and fast for what is supposed to be a seductive, romantic dance so not attractive to me and OH.
