  • Agree @Obelixx, it is all a bit smoke and mirrors for the TV viewers.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus

There was an overhead shot of Annabel and Johannes dancing across the floor, which gave some idea of the space, the decor, (for want of a better description ) and the patterns on the floor.
Just for a second it encapsulated the beauty and history of the Tower Ballroom.
  • Glad to see AR go, competition hotting up now!

I agree it was her time to leave. Loved her speech to Kai, and his response.

Loved Annabelle's and Angela S's dances - both beautifully choreographed and performed and I liked that Carlos didn't clutter the AT with extra dancers.   Ellie's dance was good but neither moving nor enough fun for me.

Didn't like Angela R's routine - looked old fashioned and fuffy duddy and hardly used that wonderful floor and I think she wasn't given a chance to shine.  Dreadful sleeves on that frock too.

Bobby's most attractive dance so far and he did well cos being so tall and long-limbed makes jive more difficult.

Didn't like Layton's routine - it's supposed to be a dance, not athletics, so is done to the rhythm and in sync.  This wasn't.

I don't think Nigel works hard enough and he makes too many mistakes so he can go.
Obelixx's post has summed up everything I would have said, except I would have chosen Angela R to go - not Nigel. I'm choosing the lazy option and quoting @Obelixx.

Ellie has been my favourite for weeks but last night I preferred Angela S and Annabelle.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I don't think Ellie's outfit did her any favours,a slim Charleston dress would've looked much better than that awful fluffy thing, didn't she look different with a fringe?😁 For a second I couldn't figure out who it was.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
  • Madness their new song sounded like their old song they have been getting away with it for years. I was a bit worried that Bobby may have gone out last night as his jive didn't look as good second time around whereas Angela's dance looked better than first time around, the jive did have more content in it though so that's probably why all the judges agreed. Poor Diannne she looked distraught at knocking Angie out.

I think Diane is under a fair bit of stain. Her father is undergoing chemotherapy in Australia.
She must be so worried, he's so far away.
  • I think the right one left, although I was a bit worried for Bobby as I agree with @barry island  that his jive in the dance off wasn't as good as his original jive.
I didn't recognise Ellie at first either @Valley Gardener  with the fringe. Also thought her outfit didn't do much for her either. But a great dance.
I always record Strickly and whizzed through Madness, although the bit I heard did sound like his other songs 😊
