The minute l saw who was in the dance off l could have predicted the result.
I wonder if Shirley was telling the truth ? If Anton had voted the other way would she really have stuck to her guns ?
I'm so cynical, l (almost) hate myself  :)

@AnniD I think Anton should have been brave enough to put her on the spot.

  • I don't know what to think! Really loved Angela's Cha Cha Cha, for her sass and ability etc. I always thought knees are more relaxed/bended in this dance, more than what I saw from her. I still loved her dancing, but was the dance maybe missing a key ingredient, (relaxed knees) or is that not necessary? I am really sorry she has  had to go - it seems she had alot to offer, if given more time.

@clematisdorset the standing leg has to be straight and the other is straight but with the hip flexed so it's ready to move and take the weight.   Hard to learn and do, especially at cha cha speed but it's what gives the hip movement.  I thought Angela did it very well and made the cha cha look like fun, which it is meant to be.

I thought the wrong one went home. I was thinking the same as you re which way Shirley said she would have voted @AnniD
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

  • Thanks @Obelixx - that makes it worse that poor Angela had to go. I think I got mixed up between the requirements regarding knee and hip flexion in this dance.

  • I thought Annabelle was going to be in the dance off tonight.
I kept thinking Layton was going to get his feet caught on the bottom of his skirt and trip over both times he danced.
Thought Anton was going to vote for Layton going home and that Shirley would vote them off too 🤷‍♀️

  • I had a feeling he would be in the DO, I didn't like it at all. Very sorry Angela went home,it should've been the other way round.

Annabels dress really jarred, what an awful colour for a paso, but good Spanish music, and I thought she was very watchable.

I was disappointed Bobby played the pity card.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
  • Not keen on Bobby’s dance as a dance, but I’m not sure how the theme of it differed from Annabels dance about losing her husband?

I thought hers was the better dance per se, but that’s not because of what it was about.
