  • Good show last night much better than the themed shows especially last weeks spookfest, am I wrong in thinking that although there are two Angela's one seems to get more of the praise and the other gets more of the criticism from the judges? I thought that Ellie produced the best performance but wanting to help save some contestants we voted for Adam, Annabel and Angela Scanlon.

I didn’t think there where any really bad performances , so I’ll be interesting to see who is in Dance off tonight ? Now down to who the Great British Like

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm glad Ellie did well last week as she's my favourite. Don't know why Adam was in the dance off last week when he was on the first half of the leader board.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I didn’t like Krishnan’s couples choice, and their outfits weren’t great, which sometimes weighs a couple down in the votes. I hope he stays in though.
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

  • Agree about Ellie being consistently excellent, I hope she gets to the final. I love Krishnan's joy and I like Angela Scanlon's attitude and dancing too. Agree that costumes can sometimes hinder the overall effect. Not long until Blackpool...

I did enjoy Ellie and Vito's dance, l imagine that Len would have loved it.

Must confess to being in tears throughout Annabel and Johannes' dance.

I always feel for any male contestants dancing the rumba, but Luba was mesmerising to watch.

Layton is not very good at hiding his dislike of criticism imo.

Really enjoyed Angela S' samba and Annabelle and Johannes.   Two great partnerships.  Krishnan's dance was entertaining and funny and made me smile.   Angela R was good too but a few flaky footsteps.   Ellie is exceptional.

I also enjoyed Adam's rumba but that was because Luba was stunning.   I don't think she gave him enough to do so there was a lot of posing and standing for him.  Same goes for Bobby with Diane being mesmering and him fairly still.  As for Layton's jive - too much side by side and apart for me.   It's a couple's dance, not pairs.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I missed Adams Rumba, but saw the rest.
Not keen on Angela R this week,I think she's run her course now.
Layton thinks he can do no wrong by his face at less than 9s.
Ellie was terrific, has to be a winner at this rate, she seems ready to take on anything.
Bobby was disappointing for me,no passion.
I was in tears too with Annabels dance. Brave lady.imo

ps. I had to laugh at the way they moved swiftly on after Angela S reference to the Sharon Stone scene😉. She has a great sense of humour, that even shut Claudia up for once.😄

I think Angela S is a really good strictly competitor - good attitude, good work ethic, good dancer and great sense of humour and self deprecation.

Good result tonight tho not convinced the right two pairs were in the dance off.
