Glad you had a good sleep Rosie, I am going to be watching the Sewing Bee finale tonight. Its been an interesting series so far.ย
Ante, it was a strange day here today too. Mostly dry all day then the rain arrived. Garden is loving it, Lily and I are not so impressed.
I am signing out for tonight and I'll see you all in the morning.

I thought it had something to do with Roman Catholics.ย

It rained at lunchtime then the sun came out. I've planted the parsley, basil and mint that I bought at the GC this morning in pots and I did some weeding in the veg garden and planted some broccoli, Brussels Sprouts and lettuce plants. My lettuces had bolted. I have started harvesting tomatoes, courgettes and cucumbers and the runner beans are almost ready. The sweetcorn all fell over in the night, it's grown tall and a bit spindly because it wasn't wasn't enough when I was away and I've planted it a bit too close together. Maybe there was wind in the night. I've made a framework of canes and string to support it all.

    Morning all (from the CA),

Looks like the wet weather continues. A few decent days before winter sets in would be nice ;)ย ย

Good morning Biglad and all to follow.

Sunny and cold morning. It's only 11โ„ƒ. My pets are all fed, same as birds in the garden, and now is time for cup of tea. I'll wait little bit more and then will go to cottage. Up in the hills must be even lover temperature.ย

Wish you all a nice day and se you later.

Good morning Biglad, Ante and all arriving later.
Agreed Biglad, Marti here with a vengeance.
Ante, such a contrast in temperatures where you are. I do hope that your veggies are coping. I filled my bird feeders on Tuesday and they are almost ready to be filled again. There was a disturbance amongst the little birds yesterday as a sparrowhawk was seen cruising about overhead. I stayed in the garden until it had flown away.

Busy, what a lovely horde of veggies you have been able to gather from your garden. Hope the support does help with keeping the sweet corn producing too.

Good morning Ruby. I'm off to Bestie's today but the weather is not really encouraging us to go out anywhere. I heard a rumour it may improve this afternoon.

    Morning all.

It's going to be warm and sunny today.ย

OH has an appointment with dentist son this afternoon to fit his implants. I was worrying because I was expecting a large delivery from A**z*n and the email said I had to be here to sign for it and it wouldn't let me change the date. It's come! Came with the postman. It's a small gazebo that OH is offering me for my birthday that I will be able to grow 4 climbing roses on. I hope we manage to assemble it.

  • The gazebo sounds good, @Busy-Lizzie
