A very good morning Rosie and all arriving soon. Dull and overcast again this morning. I feel bad about moaning on about our weather here when I see what people around the Mediterranean are having to put up with. I am glad it is just a 'habit' because that is what we Brits like to 'go on' about.
Rosie, knowing my luck with those 'windows', I find it is generally 5 minutes before they are due to end that the service engineer/delivery occurs.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning LB. The gas co had made two appmt previously even though I informed them I wasn’t available. Had to do this Saturday as they advised gas certificate would expire. Lovely snoopy cartoon.
The gazebo looks more fragile in the photo than in real life. I will choose 4 roses but I have a list of 10 and I can't decide. Any recommendations? Clay soil, cold wet winters, hot dry summers. It has been raining in the night, but the garden could do with more.
We are going to babysit for Daughter 2 today until Monday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Busy we live at the highest point in our town and get high wind extreme heat for( England ,)the winters are very cold and when it snows it hangs around for weeks :The climbing rose Compassion ,(it is a lovely bright yellow ,)has coped with all the our extremes of weather .You could consider that . There is also a bush rose of the same name .
