Helmingham Hall was open for the NGS today so went went to look at the garden, just gorgeous. We are making up for the 3 years of Covid and OH's hip problems. It has been a lovely day, warm and sunny.
Hazel, I am so so sorry to hear about your Mum. I am not surprised you feel emotionally shredded. Hope you get some positive news soon. Well done to your son.
I had a lovely time today with the 'gang' and the food was delicious. All the wet cloth things I left out were bone dry on my return.
Watched Andy - boo! What a shame and for Broady too. I noticed they have bumped Beechgrove off for that One Show. Why couldn't they just have scrubbed the One Show instead. Wonder if they will scrub GW as well. So annoying.
Busy, stunning pictures again. Thank you.

Good morning all. Off to work today only supposed to be until lunchtime but we will see. Another busy week. Enough said.ย
Glad to see so many of you enjoying the tennis, you are a real sports fan arenโt you @Ladybird4, do you play any sports yourself? Other than canasta?ย and @Busy-Lizzie is clearly living up to her name all these shows etc. lovely.ย
@Songbird-2 so sorry to hear about your mom hope you have better news today.ย
@Ante1 fingers crossed you can enjoy your weekend and the rain continues to help with the watering.ย
Just got to feed Graham and I can go to work. Out to tea with sister tonight she just got back from Santorini.ย
I hope your Mum is OK @Songbird-2 and suitable accomodation can be found.
Our NDN who fell was in hospital a few weeks then came back home. She had carers but they stopped and now neighbours do her shopping and washing. Other NDN has been very good to her.
A very good morning one and all. I've just unpacked and stashed all my grocery shopping after an early morning dash. Bliss as ever in the SM.
Safe journey Hazel and I hope you get some positive news regarding your Mum.
Debs, I played competitive squash and badminton for 25 years but I've hung up all my racquets (literally - on my study wall) now. Both teams played in the Lancashire leagues. Squash was ladies only (though I was allowed and did play for our men's team when they were short of a player) and the badminton team was mixed. I loved every minute of it but my left knee joint (and occasionally my back) get their revenge now and again. Hope that your morning goes well and you have a lovely catch up with your sister later.
We have thunderstorms forecast for today and all of a sudden my morning sunshine has disappeared. Time for a cuppa I think and hopefully some gardening.

Enjoy your meal with your sister @debs64.
No visiting today. I have some gardening to do. Weeds, deadheading, a few plants and my new clematis to plant and the box hedge to trim.
Friends are coming for Sunday lunch and I must start preparations for that.
