Well it is absolutely heaving down here now - as it appears is what's happening at Wimbledon. Forecasts are pretty good these days but I do feel for the people who have travelled miles to enjoy some tennis. Yesterday I felt sorry for Andy - he looked devastated. I cannot abide watching screaming players - that lady playing against Kvitova (Kostic) is dire so I was sort of relieved when that match was suspended. Hey ho, no gardening today.

I am signing out for this afternoon - total tennis immersion! Superb win by Alcaraz. There was a monumental thunderstorm here whilst that match was on. I love thunderstorms but a very loud crack of thunder made me jump out of my skin! Face Screaming in Fear on Skype Enjoy your evenings and I'll see you tomorrow.

    Good morning all.

Sunny and quiet Sunday morning. It's pleasant outside with only 18โ„ƒ, but yesterday we stepped in the first heath wave this year. Till Wednesday, every day will be around 35โ„ƒ. I finally have whole day free of any chores so it will be for resting. My pets, and birds in the garden, are all fed and now is time for cup of tea on balcony.ย

Wish you all a very nice Sunday!ย ย

A very good morning Ante and all later arrivals. Goodness me but we had tremedous thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and evening. The lightning was spectacular - turning night into day.
I hope that you all have super days whatever you have planned - Busy, enjoy having your friends round. Hope all is well with Hazel and her family.

    Morning all (from the CA),

We got battered by thunderstorms yesterday as well @Ladybird4 :oย

The forecast is decent until early afternoon, which is good as I'm golfing at 9. Should be home in time to watch the conclusion of the test match.

    Morning all.
We arrived home on Wed and you can imagine there has been a lot to do since then - including watching Wimbers.ย

@Songbird-2 So sorry to hear about your mum Hazel. I hope she is not too badly hurt and is able to return home if that is where she is happiest. Can definitely empathise wth worrying about aged parents living a long way away. Somehow it would be easier if you could just pop round every couple of days wouldn't it?

@AnniD - nice to see you on here. Do come and join us.

Wish we'd had some of the rain that everyone else seems to be getting. We've been forecast an 80% and more than 90% chance of heavy rain over the last couple of days plus yellow warnings for thunderstorms. Think we've had about 10 drops... Gonna have to get the sprinkler out this afternoon.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
