Sterling work done there @Biglad. I remember when you first posted a picture of this garden some years back, we did get an idea of the slope problem (least I think it was you who told us that! I could have just made that all up )
Hazel, have you heard from 23 yet? I bet he will be excited to see you and your OH to tell you all his news.
I received a new hardy geranium today - one called Laura. Its a double pure white variety. Looking forward to seeing it get settled in.

I've dipped in and out of Wimbledon today but was finding the 'on-off' tennis and the Beeb flitting us about all over the courts a bit tiresome.

We feel like too LB regarding the tennis. Also finding some things really tedious....since when did tennis presenters / BBC speakers start talking to the winners of every single match afterwards and going on and on for ages? I do find that  ..dare I say it......boring. And I do  feel for the winners  who must be exhausted and that would be the last thing they would to do I expect 😕Something feels to be lacking this year for me, don't know what. Perhaps some excitement, anticipation,no " greats" perhaps? ( Plenty of grunters  here too🙄😕).
Im signing off too, very tired tonight.

Good morning everyone. Off to see Bestie today. Apparently a new GC has been opened by one of those bargain SM on the little retail park where we take our 'stuff' to the Sue Ryder shop. It would be rude not to go and give it some support. I do not expect to come home emptied handed.

    Morning all,

Yes @Ladybird4 - youngest has been in the house for nearly 18 months so it was last year when the top 2 tiers were originally renovated. The other day basically restored to where we got them to last summer. If I get chance to get back over in the near future, we can get something going in the bottom tier and plant some more stuff up top. It's a shame that she doesn't live a bit closer and have greener fingers ;)

Could be two days of decent gardening weather here :)

Afternoon to all my dear friends.

I had a hectic last few days. It's hot and there is a lot of work at cottage. Last two days I was completely offline. Our local idiot (intoxicated) drove with his lory at telephone pole and crushed it down. He is well without any injury, but whole street didn't had land line, internet and tv. Very uncomfortable.
Good thing is that we had decent rain, twice, which saved me from watering, but weeds are everywhere.
I have a lot of thing on my mind, but can't wrote everything. Hope you are all well, because I didn't read back.

Afternoon all. Ruby I had a wonderful time at the new GC. They had just had a fresh delivery of some stunning hydrangeas at giveaway prices and I was totally smitten. Here is the one that captivated me:
It is so good to see you Ante. We guessed your absence may have been because of your crops but now we know that some eejit caused havoc by knocking down the telegraph pole and cutting you off from t'internet. I bet that you are glad to be back online once more. I hope that the things that are on your mind are nice things and not worrying things Ante?
