Morning Ruby, Busy and Biglad. Its persisting down here just now (not blaming you @Biglad) but as I'm waiting for a parcel delivery it is not TOO annoying. As Ruby says, we have Wimbledon to watch.
Busy, those pictures are just beautiful! I love the geraniums and lavender.
Yep, @Biglad, Bairstow was a twonk! Certainly got Stokesy all fired up though.

Morning all. Very much cooler this morning, inside and out.

We are waiting for seven parcels to arrive, some should arrived last week but Royal Mail is really dragging its heels over delivery these days. There is only one parcel that won't go through the letterbox so thankfully we are not stuck in daily waiting for them to arrive.Β

I feel like a stuck record but ,once again, it remains windy here. I feel as if I have been saying this for months now. I can't remember the last day it was still outside.

I tried some knitting yesterday but my fingers are suffering this morning, swollen and sore.

Son and 23 and family are returning home tomorrow after their holidays. I can't believe how quickly it has flown by but am looking forward to seeing them all again.

Lovely pics @Busy-Lizzie , the gardens look lush and green.

@Rubee , pleased to hear your OH had a wonderful special birthday. His gifts of six books sounds like my kind of present too!

Have a nice day everyone ...Wimbledon awaits....

Morning Hazel. The parcel I am waiting for is coming via Royal Mail and it should have been delivered last Saturday. I will be miffed (Ante = very annoyed) if it doesn't arrive today. Gosh that holiday has flown passed. 23 will be very excited to share all his experiences - good and bad - with you.

Can't wait to catch up with 23 ( and son) ,we've had a few pics over the past fortnight and on a few he didn't look very happy( he'd been told off for being naughtyπŸ˜±πŸ˜‚). Plenty of sun and swimming though.πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

That Centre Court roof hasn't done much of a job this afternoon @Ladybird4. Bit of a fiasco that 90 minute delay after 30 seconds of rain!

Yup @Biglad and even Ultra HD didn't make it any less tiresome.

I agree about the Venus match Hazel. I'm watching the Kenin/Gauff match and it is far more entertaining. I am signing out for tonight too. See you all tomorrow.

    Morning all (from the CA),

Forecast for this afternoon's visit to youngest's looks ok. GC on the way to stock up on a few replacements to replenish the losses since my last visit (last year!). I'll try and avoid arriving home with anything for myself - more pots to tempt the vine weevils not a good idea.
