Call block not required - unsurprisingly, he never bothered. What he did do was get somebody else to ring me up to say that he thought I'd been overpaid over several weeks so my pay will get deducted. Just got my payslip - I've been overpaid! Absolute shambles!
OMG @Biglad! It goes from bad to worse. I am signing out for tonight - and this month. I hope that GW is as good tonight as it was last week. I love it when Adam Frost is the chief presenter. See you all tomorrow. Enjoy your evenings whatever you have planned.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
White rabbits all! I cannot believe we are already halfway through 2023. It was a bit cool first thing and looks like I won't get my hedge cut again today. I also have a couple of hydrangeas that need planting out so they will have to stay on 'hold' a while longer.
No spoilers for last night but I noticed that the rose you mentioned @Busy-Lizzie featured in a rose section - Caroline Testout. What a beauty!

Good morning all cool and grey here. Horrible day at work yesterday but we have been promised help. Our colleague who is unwell has Addisons syndrome and apparently it takes a while to get medication sorted out. She is only 23 so really hope ย they can help her. She wants to be back at work but isnโt up to it at all.ย
Youngest son here for lunch then the allotment site where I had my plot has an open day so I want to pop along and see how itโs doing without me. Sad I had to give it up but I think it was the right decision. Even my little garden is feeling a lot at the moment.ย
I walked along to get the newspaper this morning. Actually felt a few drops of rain, but that was all. My OH is out for a walk with friends at Eynsford and Shoreham today, so hopefully will bring back photos of the castle at Lullingstone, and the Lavender farm. Me? I don't walk anywhere near as much as I would like, but I've got plenty to do, as our offer for another house was accepted (in principle) yesterday. Got to sort out survey and so much more. Might be in by Christmas!!

I will try and get out in the garden this morning .Lots of tidying up to do .Sorry to read that you had a bad day at work yesterday Debs .Enjoy your weekend . Good morning Debs, Biglad, Busy, Rowlandscastle and Ruby. Been outside - not for long. Watered the tomatoes in the GH - started feeding some of them today as the first pea sized tomatoes have set. Spotted my latest cactus showing off:
Busy, my water butts are full too. Hope you have a super time at the open gardens.
Congratulations @rowlandscastle444 - how very exciting, yet daunting times ahead.
Think I'll wait a little longer Ruby.
Debs, at least the Area Manager will have seen first hand how difficult things have been for you all. Sorry to hear about your young colleague.

Feels like my first day of freedom after being locked up!
Weather is guaranteed is to be wet and wild now that I want to spend Leo Sayers in the garden
I can catch up on some neglected house admin and watch the cricket (or rain falling at Lords) instead today.ย
It has rained again. The butts were already full.
We are going to look at some village gardens open today.
