  • Rain here Topbird but we certainly needed it.  The fitter put all the heavy things back in the kitchen for me and I’ve returned everything else and Alfie has had a wander round.  Ante you’ll be glad to get so much done.  Hazel I did the ironing just a day or so after the washing which dried very quickly.  LB you’ll have enjoyed planting the new roses and watching them grow.  I was awake early and then thought I’ll just have a doze and I fell asleep for quite a while.

That was very kind of your floor fitter. I hope Alfie was impressed.

    Afternoon all.

I had pleasant day so far. After haircut I spent some time with my neighbor, and we had long chat.
I told before that my father, after retiring, goes to fishing almost every day with his small boat. Yesterday he called me, and I was in the middle of potatoes filed, and said that I need to come immediately on the pier. I thought that something happened, so I went back to town (11km). He was fine but he caught huge conger, 14,8kg, and he couldn't pull him in boat. So I also smelled on fish, but now we can eat fish and chips whole month. 😂

And here it is, little fish.

So Ante, that's huge! No wonder your dad needed your help hauling that in. Hmmmm fish and chips, what better? .....have them for a month👍😂!
LB, very past pic tonight. 👍
We've had rain a lot this afternoon but the water  butts are hardly touched. Lots of our foxglove are going over quickly, now. I do like them and their statuesque height and form. I'll be sad to see them finished.

Hazel, nice that you had a lot of rain, I hope for more rain next weekend. This year I don't have foxgloves.

It's quite late and I'm signing out. Wish you all goodnight and see you tomorrow. Sweet dreams.

    Good morning all.

We have lovely sunny and fresh morning. It's only 16℃, and it was so pleasant to sleep. Pets are, as usual, all fed and back to sleep, and I can make cup of tea. This afternoon I'll maybe go to the cottage, but not sure yet. Forgot to mention that this Saturday I have dinner with my friends from school. It will be nice to see them again.
