    Good morning to all.

What a wonderful morning. Rain and wind, and only 17โ„ƒ. Yesterday I was whole day at cottage, and I'm so glad that all major jobs are done, and rain is most than welcome. Pets are all fed and back to sleep, I have my tea and waiting 8 o'clock when I have haircut appointment. Later I'll show you some interesting photos.ย

Wish you all a lovely day!

Good morning Ante and all to arrive soon. I have woken to a much cooler day and it's raining, so saved me one of my morning jobs. Well done Ante for all of yesterday's hard work - it will pay off in the long term. Lily has been fed and is asleep on my leg. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures.
You do right Hazel in getting your upgrade. If they offer you something for nothing then grab it with both hands. Wow, I was shocked when I heard how much you had to pay for new keys. That is extortionate. I remember when I had my new doors installed - many years ago - I was given several blank keys in case I needed to have more cut as key cutters in those days didn't stock the type of key I use. They probably do now though. I am glad I am not needing any cut.
T'Bird, wherever you end up today I'm sure it will prove to be interesting. I would love a proper thunderstorm.

    Good morning all.

We are up, but still having coffee in bed, earlier than usual as we are going to the Norfolk Show. When we've been before the weather has been lovely, but today will be overcast and tomorrow it will probably rain.

Good morning Busy. Well I do hope that it does, at least, stay dry today for you and your OH. Enjoy the show.

Good morning all. Off to work in a bit, hoping to book my lieu days, I want a day in the school holidays with Maisie, things are tough for her at the moment and she needs some extra fuss I think. My daughter is very good of course but as all young moms these days she is a busy ๐Ÿฐ bunny. fiance has just left. He likes his new job but not so much the working away from home, I think as we all get older we like our own beds donโ€™t we? Not @Topbird of course she is obviously young enough to enjoy adventures!ย
Enjoy the show @Busy-Lizzie I have never been to Norfolk but hear itโ€™s lovely.ย
Drizzly rain here but still too warm for my liking.ย

    Morning all,
very muggy here this morning, I feel a headache coming on and Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s due to this heaviness. We might have storms this pm, but as theyโ€™re pretty hit and miss, we might not. Hope I can get those cloth things dried on the string beforehand.
Fairly lazy day ahead, I think.
Hope your day at work is ok @debs64, with no irate customers ๐Ÿคž.

Morning all. Much the same here @Red maple, muggy, close but we have no sun shining. Have had blood taken and now the day is my my own.

May have to sort out a hanging pot of petunias, I think they've outgrown the pot but can't fit a bigger pot into the hanging pot so they may have to go. They need constant watering now so are becoming a chore. However, the other evening I was out and walked passed them by and the scent was heavenly! I didn't realise petunias were scented.( not a lover of them).ย

I have ย managed to pass on quite of few of the baby VB to family members and the ones I have left are growing enormous. I have no room left for them in the garden๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@debs64,ย hope you get your lieu day and that the time spent with Maisie will be productive. Children are such a worry.I'm not sure I would like to be a youngster in this day and age but I suppose each generation has its own challenges to face.

@Ante1, well done for getting a full days work in at the cottage, that will have taken some energy levels and back breaking work. Nice to hear your temperatures have dropped too. Looking forward to the ' interesting photos'๐Ÿง๐Ÿ™‚

Good afternoon all. I managed to get my 4 new roses into the bed I had cleared last week for them. They look nice and healthy and just as I finished puddling them in with their mycorrhizal fungi around the roots, the rain started again. I got everything stashed away and decided that I had done enough outside for today. About 8cm below the surface the soil was as dry as a sandpit so I will have to keep an eye on the watering for a while.
Debs, a day spent with Maisie will be very cheery for you. Will you have a little outing or just spend time at home?
Hazel, I love the scent of petunias - its delicious. It must be your OH who likes them then?

Not really LB, we just liked the look and colour of the ones we have when we first saw them. They've actually perked up well today after a real good watering so they survive to live another day.๐Ÿ™‚
You've done well to get four roses in the ground, at least the rain will help give them a good watering in, if it lasts.
Ive had Lily's TV on today and all the material things have dried nicely outside. It's still muggy here but is supposed to be cooler from tomorrow onwards.ย
