A very good morning to you all. Looking forward to catching up with Bestie today. I don't think we have any set plans so we will just wait for the day to evolve.
I hope Hazel's OH is feeling a bit more comfortable today.

Good morning all. Sorry to hear about your OH @Songbird-2 hope today is better for both of you.
Lovely photos @Ladybird4 looks like you had a good day.
Yesterday wasn’t too bad, we had a relief dispenser who was very good helping us out. Long day today so hope she is in again.
  • Morning LB hope you feel more rested.  Enjoy time with bestie.  I have someone coming to measure up the kitchen as the previous company didn’t deliver as they sold me something the rep had in his van but wasn’t in stock anymore so basically waiting over a month for nothing.  Well the carpet fitter texted to confirm he could either come this morning or tomorrow morning to measure up in between jobs but he advised I didn’t need to pay anything until completed.  Had a lovely cup of tea.
  • Viewings yesterday came to nothing.
One was ideal - but with another interested party, we were out-offered. The other we decided was not suitable - mainly due to there being a telegraph pole in the back garden, at  one corner of the conservatory. Never seen that before!!🤯

Good morning Debs, Rosie and @rowlandscastle444.
Debs it certainly was a super day though the drive was a pain with just the sheer volume of traffic and the speed restrictions on the M6.
Rosie, I do hope that you get sorted with your flooring soon. It must have been very disappointing for you.
A telegraph pole at the corner of a conservatory certainly sounds odd. Just up the lane from me is a bungalow that has an electric substation running parallel to its front garden. I always find that very strange.

We looked at one place a couple of weeks ago. It had an electric sub-station right next to it. Carefully just out of the photos.

Morning all. Scorcher here and to get even hotter over the weekend.
OH is okay this morning thankfully, gums not too sore and healing well. Fingers crossed he continues to improve as the day goes on. We've popped to SM, which was crowded today so we made the trip a quick one . It was lovely and cool in there though so it was like hitting a wall of heat when we came out.
Had a text from son.,on holiday in a far away country, telling us the 23 is poorly, and being sick. He's laid out on the bed, poor soul, trying to cope with sickness and high temperatures.
Rosie, how annoying for you to wait all that time just to be told it's not in stock. I hope this morning goes well for you.Have you ordered any new flooring yet?
  • LB the fitter arrived at 8.20am after texting me first.  He did the measure while I chose the flooring.  He said he’ll try and fit me in next week if possible.  The flooring is called warm oak.  Alfie hid the whole time.  I coaxed him out with some treats afterwards.  @rowlandscastle444 I hope you find something suitable.
