@rowlandscastle444, great news that your offer has been accepted, and wow, what a garden! Beautiful and mature and very well kept by the look of it. Onwards and upwards. Hope, you've got a sit-on mower or lots of extension leads😂

Topbird, eek! Not content with welly wanging now we have baby frog action songs and guess the age😱 What fun you lucky girl! You've found a good place there. 🙂

@rowlandscastle444 that looks a lovely garden, plenty of scope for you to put your own stamp on it. I hope your offer is accepted.

I'm glad you are enjoying your holiday @Topbird and having a chance to relax at last.

Took us 6 1/2 hours to get to Bristol. Loads of traffic and roadworks, the odd accident and a traction engine pulling a gypsy caravan didn't help.

    Going to Westonbirt Arboretum tomorrow.

    Morning all (from the CA),

I can see how that would be an influence on your decision @rowlandscastle444 ;)

Just had a quick lap. Found the biggest Brian I've seen in my garden. A shell the size of a golf ball :o We've had a couple of mms rain overnight so it's damp and cool for all the gastropods to be enjoying breakfast.

Lots of fruit is colouring up nicely. My breakfasts should be topped with homegrown berries and currants for the next 3-4 months :)

Looks like I might be able to finally get away from my job next Friday. The 3 stooges above me within the 15-strong department really have excelled themselves the last few days. Fortunately, one of them cleared off yesterday so I'll just have to put up with two different versions of how they think I should be doing things next week. There's a threatened imminent strike within the industry, which will potentially lead to a short-term lack of jobs. I heard yesterday that the boss is reneging on previous promises to junior staff about their end dates in order to give his 'favourites' longer on the job. What a guy!

Good morning @Biglad and all followers. Hi @Pauline 7, good to see you.
What news of the family Hazel?
Busy, that sounds like a very tiring trip. I hope you managed to squeeze in some pit stops on the way. Westonbirt is on my 'to do' list. Have a great day.
Biglad, your work situation sounds nightmarish to me. When you say 'finally get away from my job' are you talking of a permanent departure or is it just for a break?

Good morning Biglad, LB and all to follow.

Refreshment arrived last night, but only with high wind. I was at front garden and there is some damage, but nothing serious. Now is time for tea. I'll also have today resting day.

    wish you all lovely Saturday.

Good morning all. Lovely photos @Topbird sounds like you are having a marvellous time.
@Ante1 I love lilies but don’t have any tree lilies would love to see a picture.
Off to get my hair cut and coloured then out to see my sister. Our mutual friend who has the son with the drug problem is still struggling he ODed for the 3rd time yesterday and she is trying to have him sectioned. The next time she may be too late to save him, only 19 it’s so sad.
I was so hot last week I bought a fan costing £160! It’s very noisy though so going back, I got one for £30 instead, also noisy but £130 cheaper!
Hope you all have a good day planned
