@rowlandscastle444 being 27 is another thing. On this thread and the Forkers one we are all 27. Dovefromabove and her daughter WonkyWomble are both 27. Most of us have health needs  ;) I filled a 20 cubic metre skip when I downsized. It was in 2020 so impossible to sell stuff thanks to Covid. My children took quite a bit.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Morning all.  @rowlandscastle444 I hope you like the bungalows.  It’s challenging moving having to get rid of so many things collected over the years.  I had to sell my brass bed and I was very sad about that it was rather beautiful.  Hazel is it really five years.  It doesn’t seem that long ago does it.  LB hope you and Lily are having a restful sleep.  If I get a good nights sleep I’m usually awake the following night body clock a bit out.  Time for tea.

@rowlandscastle444 - do not say that you weren't warned!

Seriously, I hope the hunt for a new home is useful today.
Hazel, I did see AM at Queen's but no spoilers from me either. I watched the cricket highlights. It was a great match - not the result I really wanted and I've decided that watching cricket is not good for my blood pressure!

Good morning all. Lovely day off yesterday didn’t do much and feel a lot better. Work is dreadful at the moment but things will change soon I hope. Just got to keep my head down and try to stay positive. Only a few more years to go.
Talk of downsizing, I did that when I divorced moving from a big house to a little one and very quickly. The state of the loft at the time in the big house means I now NEVER put stuff up in the loft I have learnt my lesson.
Today is the anniversary of my first (only) wedding, 38years ago. Makes me realise how much better off I am now. Sun is shining here. Hope you all have lovely days and no HW allowed.

    Morning all,

This work lark is a serious drag, @debs64 :( The proposed gap/break/rest between the ****show I'm doing now and the one I agreed to originally, is shrinking as others beggar off and leave me with bits of their cr*p to sort out. Last time that I agree to do work as a favour to anybody (apart from doing the family gardening!).

Any blueberry growers on here? One of my 3, Aurora, seems to have had a meltdown this year. 'Fruited' way earlier than last year and bits turning crispy and dying off. I'm presuming it's weather-related (cold/wet followed by hot/dry) and isn't anything that could spread to her 2 sisters?

Big Lad I am not a fruit grower .I guess the problem with your blueberry could be weather related also I was wondering if something was attacking the roots ?  Have a good day folks .

Good morning all. What a hot morning and plenty more to come. I had to shut the bedroom window in the middle of the night due to ***** Dove coo cooing outside.
Ah, @rowlandscastle444 , you've been done by our Col TT😂 Any speak of HW and he's out!
Rosie, yes, nearly five years now since we moved. The time has rocketed by and we are still doing things to this house. One day it will end.....will it?? When we downsized I eventually lost track of the number of times my OH filled the car with stuff we didn't want /couldn't take with us , and went off to the local skip, loads of things went but when we did moved, we had to downsize some of the furniture we'd brought as it was too big for the rooms here. Last house had quite large rooms but here, they are tiddly. However, we adapted ( Borg speak) and now love it albeit is small. Less to clean up and less needing HW to be done.🙂
Think we are off to a GC this morning. Have a good everyone.
