Afties all. It's rained all day here but the air is cooler and much fresher today, thankfully. OH didn't sleep well last night so taking it easy today. House alarm chappie called this morning, the PIR was faulty so he replaced that and all back to normal now.
Had a phone call from GP surgery about bone scan results. Need an up to date blood test so one arranged for next week and then will be put on Vit D and other stuff if necessary. Apparently I should have been issued with a prescription for Vit D when last at the hospital but it got overlooked. Rosie, we're both seemingly having problems with the medical profession, in one capacity or another. Probably others are too. I hope your telephone appointment comes through soon.
Rubee, the Rheumatic pains are coming and going at the moment, but today not too bad, thanks ( for asking).
Debs, it must be so hard for you and your colleagues when understaffed with horrid customers.Do not take it personally. Theses folks are taking their frustrations out on you, which shouldn't be allowed. If it is starting to impact your health now is the time to do something about it. Your health is more important than anything at work.

Overcast outside, may rain. The only plans I have for the day may cause an angry chap in a tank to try to shoot me!
I have pictures of you (in my mind) in Ukraine, @Busy-Lizzie

I don't know if you know that the mention of HW, cleaning, smoothing with a hot metal thingy is forbidden on this thread! Ladybird has a pic of an angry man in a tank, forgotten his name  :D

Anyway the sun came out in the afternoon so plans changed and I did some weeding and planting in the garden.

Evening all. It has turned out quite nice this evening - a little later than where you are Busy. I love your little gardening gif.
@rowlandscastle444, the little military man is Colonel Tiny Tank Or Col TT for short. His tank is driven by his trusted sergeant. He doesn't have to come out too often but I think Rosie enjoys teasing him.   This started many years back. You'll soon get used to us.
Hazel, I'm glad you are now secure in your house once more. I have been on prescribed Vit D for many years now - combined with calcium. They are very pleasant tablets to take as they melt in your mouth and taste nice.

I am signing out for tonight. Hope you all have lovely evenings and that you have chilled out Debs. Looks like it is going to be OK for my trip to the National Memorial Arboretum tomorrow.

Just finished watching the Andy Murray match at Queen's, on i-player. Not really got the hang of i-player yet. Still stuck in the age of "if I can't watch it, then I need to record it"!!!

Thank you for the explanation @Ladybird4 and @Busy-Lizzie (although I'm not sure what HW is.) 🤔

Will I get used to you all? I doubt it. Memory is going anyway, so . . . . . !!

Off to view two more bungalows tomorrow.

Good luck with the bungalows, hope they are nice and the right price @rowlandscastle444.  HW = housework.

    Good morning
we have rain at the moment, which is actually forecast for most of the day. For now, it’s the steady kind that’s best for gradually soaking the ground.
Sorry that work was so awful yesterday @debs64 and I hope you can relax on your day off today.
Lovely photos @Topbird. It looks very restful and relaxing. It’s bringing back memories of when I went to Sweden.
A few indoor jobs that I really must tackle today, then relax with my book, I think.

@rowlandscastle444, HW is housework! We don't mention it as we all have to do it, it's a given, so we talk of other things😊 More viewings for you tomorrow, enjoy. Are you looking to downsize now you're 27?! My OH and I downsized nearly five years ago now ( it's flown) and we're so glad we did. It's made life so much easier.....and HW😂
Hope you have a great day tomorrow LB. Don't forget the pics.... did you see AM in the tennis today? No spoilers from me.
Signing off for today. Night all.

    Ah! Thank you @Busy-Lizzie
There was me trying to rack my brain - Holy War, homework, and more. But not housework.

We share ours. Wife does the dusting and cooking. I vacuum clean, wash clothes and iron.

Yes, we're looking to downsize. But due to health needs. But not 27. Certainly don't feel it. We've been in our current home for 21 years, and the stairs are the issue. Not the climbing, but rather the falling down them.

The downsizing is not easy. Gathered so much stuff.
