A very good morning one and all. Great pics again T'Bird, thank you for sharing. There is something about the boat pic that immediately gives a sense of the peace and tranquility.
Busy I love the colour combinations of the plants you have chosen. They will bring a real pop to your garden.
Rosie, I have a little porter's trolley which is marvellous for moving heavy loads and I use it quite often. I can see myself having to use it more and more now.
I am off shopping now - deep joy - but at least I will avoid the crowds.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning all. Another pleasantly warm and sunny day beckons but I think it will be a very lazy one - lots of reading and puzzles I think. Might do a very short bike ride but it's a bit uppy-downy round here. Need to find somewhere to stay tomorrow night which could prove tricky, but it won't be the end of the world if we have to wild camp for one night. Thank you for turning the photo @Busy-Lizzie. I can do it on the desktop 'puter but have yet to find a way on iPad and phone. Don't blame you for getting to the shops before the crowds LB. Is your email back up and running yet?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Good morning all. Work really awful yesterday at one point I was almost in tears but I have decided to try to stop complaining about it and just grit my teeth and get on with it. I feel that the stress is poisoning the time when I am not working and it’s unhealthy. Today is my day off. We have rain, lots of it, and I am planning time in the garden later.Â
@Topbird I think I need to move to tjaros to live, it sounds idyllic.Â
@debs64, sending sympathy. Is it too much work, the other staff or the customers that are so stressful? I hope you enjoy your day off.
@Topbird I have an android phone. If I click on a photo in the gallery it appears with icons under it. If I click on a little pencil I can edit the photo. Does an Iphone have the same?
Overcast outside, may rain. The only plans I have for the day may cause an angry chap in a tank to try to shoot me!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning everyone. TBird wonderful pics .So pleased you are enjoying your holiday. Debs sorry to read that yesterday wasn’t good at work .Enjoy your day off . Hazel ,how are the pains now ?I hope they are going .Busy your day sounds a great success and the plants will certainly brighten up the area you plant them in. LB did you manage to keep away from the plant section when you did your shopping today ?
Good morning Rosie, T'Bird, Debs and Busy. Back from shopping, unpacking and watching the torrenting rain outside - it started just as I left 'sco car park. Enjoying breakfast and a cuppa. There was a message from Jack on my landline when I got up asking if I would get him a cucumber and some tomatoes when I went shopping. Job done and I'll deliver them across the road later.
T'Bird, my email is not up and running as yet but at least VM have had the grace to place a recorded message advising us of the situation and assuring us they are 'doing our best to fix the problem'. Yeah right! Pardon my cynicism.
Debs, is it time for you to try and find another job? I was concerned reading your post about the nightmare that was yesterday. The last thing you want is to be made poorly by the whole situation and when it starts to impact on your days off then it is not doing you any good whatsoever.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Ruby - you snuckered in there. I had a good look at the plant section but to be honest I think I have got everything they had for sale in my garden and I don't really have much room for bedding plants. I think I'm going to be working in the garage today.

Rain today which has cooled the air.  Debs wishing you better days.  LB I can imagine you have an interesting garage with all sorts.  I had a hospital appmt but have asked them to reschedule as a telephone appmt as no tests stated.  They don’t seem to be posting letters and I’ve tried to update my email but not accepted.
