Evening all. Sorry to hear its been a bit chilly where you are Hazel. It will have done your joints good having had a rest though. Maybe you will hear from the hospital tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I have been looking forward to the new 'Spy in the Ocean' series, settled down to watch it and my sister rang! She was on for an hour! I was able to watch the pictures but missed the commentary. Never mind, it was great having the catch up. I am signing out for this evening. See you all in the morning.

Spy in the Ocean was fascinating. We hadn't planned to watch it but came across it and couldn't stop watching!

We had a huge thunderstorm and lots of lovely rain. Garden looks a bit battered but it's not thirsty and it will recover.

Busy, we've recorded Spy in the Wild having seen some excerpts of it, looks good. Wish we could have a good down pour, I've been out tonight and watered our garden it was so dry. Yours will soon recover after its battering and look twice as good.
Had a lovely relaxing day not doing too much. a going to have an early night so will sign off for tonight.ย

Good morning Rosie and all arriving later. I'm off to SM soon as I'm running short on some things. It will be quiet now. I've loved all of the 'Spy' series so far. Absolutely brilliant photography. So clever.
Busy, I love thunderstorms. Glad your garden got a good soaking. I will have to water later.

Good morning Rosie, LB and all to follow.

LB, hope you will have quiet time at SM.

Debs, sorry on my late response. You can use sage syrup in many ways, like sweetener in beverages, in some cocktails, or I just mix two spoons in cold glass of water and it's perfect for hot summer days. Taste is delicious.

It's raining and like Bussy I'm also glad. My plants, specially those in the hills, need water. I have my tea and preparing for school. This afternoon should arrive new fridge for my neighbor. I ordered it online, because she is little bit afraid of online shopping.

Wish you all a lovely day.

Sage syrup. It have beautiful colour.ย

Good morning all. Cloudy here but sunshine is forecast later. I am off to work in a while. Fiancรฉ is home and hoping to go out on his bike to meet a friend for coffee.ย
@Ante1 that syrup looks gorgeous I would love the recipe. My elderflowers will soon be ready to harvest and make into cordial. Looks like a bumper crop this year.

    Morning all.

What a lovely colour! @Ante1 I wasn't expecting it to be pink as sage leaves are green, unless it's purple sage, and the flowers are blue. How do you make it?

Yesterday afternoon I painted the rest of the horizontal bit of the landing ceiling, undercoat. The ceiling isn't very high and part of it is sloped. OH said he'd do the bits I can't reach today. I wonder how @Songbird-2 is getting on with hers? When the good weather came I gave it a break.

Just finished watering in the garden after stashing all my shopping away. It was lovely and quiet in 'sco so I was able to get round very quickly. Just grabbing a cuppa before deciding on a plan of action for the day.
Ante, I agree with Debs, Busy and Ruby - what a beautiful colour that sage syrup is - like a jewel in colour.
Debs, hope that the horrid senior person is not too irritating (if she is in today!) and your customers are polite.
Busy, well done on getting the bulk of your painting done yesterday. It will have dried very quickly.
Ruby, I am expecting to receive another rose today and I'm hoping that I can continue clearing the space at the bottom of the garden.
