Morning early birds. It's as cold as the Baltic here this morning brrr.......Big , thick cardigan on and am tempted to put heating on if it doesn't warm up in a bit. Have had a quick  wander round the garden, everything looking nice so back inside for a day indoors I think.
Must telephone the hospital as I haven't heard back from them. Ho hum.
Hope work is ok Debs, soon be the weekend.
Wonder how @Biglad is getting on with his new work and work pattern? Maybe he is on the golf course, or the football pitch, or running the streets?!

    Good morning Ruby and Hazel.
Ruby I have had to do some dreaded unmentionables this morning but hoping to get outside later - grabbing an early elevenses now.
Hazel - same here - very brrr this morning so it did help with me having to do indoor 'stuff'. Hope that you hear soon from the hospital.

  • A cooler day today.  I ordered some c mas presents yesterday, wanted to get ahead.  Hazel thank you, Dad continues to wake up early hours and has had to lower his higher morphine dose due to certain side effects.  Hope, as LB says, you soon hear from the hospital.

Rosie, sorry to hear your dad has been getting side effects fromthe morphine - it is a powerful drug but I think it needs reducing in dosage gradually if I remember right from when daughter used to take it. ?
You do right getting in early for X**s….. sssh, don’t tell anyone but I’ve got some too😂!

Afternoon all,  Been to get hair sorted this afternoon and took Hubby to podiatrist this morning.  Nothing planned for this evening.  Tomorrow its art class in the morning and the boys in the afternoon.  No time for gardening at the moment.  Hand is a bit better today but typing is still very awkward.  Hope everyone is ok.

    You sure can LB🤫😉
Just had a lovely surprise visit from 23 and step sister and son. Son wanted to do some printing and he doesn't have a printer. Spent a lovely hour with the kids. They practically ate us out of house and home😂😂

How will you manage at art class Yvie? Have you got rid of your splint now?
Hazel, what a super surprise for you. Hadn't you just mentioned earlier about your freezer being quite empty? They must have heard you had been shopping!

With great difficulty LB.  I am still wearing the splint and I've been using a wrist rest. I went on Tuesday and to be honest I did far more chatting than painting but its a change of scene.
