Been a nice sunny day but spoilt by a chilly wind. However, we popped to M and S this afternoon and got some nice new summer wear. For once, we found some garments which actually fit us and were available. OH has had a hair cut today whilst I've been pottering about indoors.
Pleased to hear your back is a little better today LB. Keep on doing what you're doing, you'll get there one of these days. Don't be tempted to do anything strenuous.

  • LB very gently does it, enjoy uni challenge.  Hazel lovely to get new clothes you’ll be looking all summery.

LB, my thoughts exactly on the new Father Brown series. I won't say any more in case some haven't seen it yet.
Rosie,,got some nice colourful  T shirts which I've been looking for for ages.
    Signing off for today.
  • Morning all.  Couldn’t sleep.  I’ve had breakfast and some tea and washed and dressed.  I’ll try and have sixty winks later.

Good morning all. Blue skies here today and I have a busy day off planned. Massage and facial this morning then lunch with fiancé, nowhere fancy we like a carvery. Then we may try the new guardians of the galaxy film.
Fiancé is planning to leave tonight so he can be up early and deep clean the kitchen in his new job. He is extremely fussy about cleanliness and of course it’s very important in a commercial kitchen.
@Ladybird4 hope your back allows you to get time in the garden.

Good morning Rosie, Debs and later arrivals. Bit of a change outside to yesterday but still early.
Rosie, I had a rubbish night last night too so I reckon that my batteries might run out some time this afternoon!
Debs, you certainly sound to have a fun packed day ahead. How was the 'catch up' with your colleagues yesterday? An admirable quality in your fiancé. Fingers crossed this job will be one that will preserve his well being and give you both happier times together.

Good morning Ruby. That is really good news about your OH. Fingers crossed this situation continues to improve. Enjoy your gardening. I am not quite ready to start anything too strenuous though I did manage to pull quite a lot of goose grass up yesterday. Where do wild things come from I wonder?

@Rubee good news about your OH, hope he continues to improve. Lovely to see everyone at work yesterday but we are very understaffed at the moment so it was a busy one.

    Morning all.

I'm glad to hear good news about your OH's leg @Rubee.

I hope your Fiancé enjoys his new job and settles in well @debs64.

If it doesn't rain I'll be in the vegetable garden again. I want to get everything planted and sown. I hope it all survives when we go back to Norfolk in June. CB the handy man was pretty good at watering last year.
