Good morning all, sunny here and clear skies, got some of my children and grandchildren here for lunch hoping we can sit in the garden this afternoon. May have to put out a bowl of water for Thomas he loves that.
Garden looking so much better after a full day out there yesterday but of course I keep finding more to do.
@Ante1 well done with those onions 🧅
@Ladybird4 hope the sun comes back soon.
Hope you all have a wonderful gardening day!

Morning debs. Have a nice time with your family.

LB, seeds are both, ornamental and veggies. They new that I love squashes, so I have two new verities.

    Morning all.

It's raining, doesn't look like a wonderful gardening day here.

Hazel, OH will have some stitches out in 8 days. He can eat soft food. He has smooth caps over the implants until he is ready for the permanent crowns around October. He already has 4 implants that Son did about 10 years ago. He's delighted with them. I suppose he would have had dentures, like my mother. I'm lucky, I still have all my teeth but I think I took more care of them and 1st OH was a dentist.

Morning all. Beautiful day here and the forecast for all next week is good. We are going to risk planting out the remaining cosmos today and I am going to try and turn some of soil over, deep, to aerate it and get any bugs caught🙂
OH just has the back of the door to paint now and then the job is finished. He didn't sleep well last night so he will take it easy for the rest of the day.
Busy, that sounds like your OH implant preparation is a bit like having a crown done. I'm glad he's been pleased with his previous ones as you do read some awful stories about folks having things done to their teeth and then they regret it. That wouldn't be the case with your son doing it though. It is certainly something I would  get done if I could do ever afford it, it's quite expensive here I believe.
The Salvia I potted up yesterday is looking very sorry for itself this morning. I'm hoping it will pick up over the next few days.

    Good morning,
I haven’t posted this last week as we’ve been away to Norfolk. Had a lovely time, and the weather was, on the whole, ok - didn’t stop us getting out and about.
The garden has put on a huge growth spurt whilst we’ve been away, and the borders need my attention. OH is cutting the grass right now. I’ll get out there later but must attend to the usual post holiday jobs first.
Hope everyone is ok. I have not read all your posts yet, will do so later.
  • LB do hope the sun comes out again for you.  Sunny here.  Watched GW and Beechgrove then pottered.

@Red maple, lovely to see you. 😀 I did wonder where you were. The break will hopefully have reinvigorated you both now, you'll certainly  need the extra energy to tackle the garden and grass if ours is anything to go by!🙂 The green bin will surely fill up fast.

Ive just potted on some Little Leo sunflowers, they were all pot bound but looking very healthy. I've also planted out the cosmos now, they will just have take their chance outside. They are bought ones and I think they've been pinched out as they are very small. I prefer the tall swishy ones that move about in the breeze but the ones we've sown haven't done well at all. They're no good. Must remember to buy a new packet of seeds for next year.
