    That's a nasty shock LB. I hope he's OK.

    Good morning to all.

LB, I'm sorry to hear such bad news. Hope his condition is improved.

Nice, sunny and warm morning. Yesterday after school I was in shopping and in GC, of course. You wouldn't believe me when I say how warm was yesterday, 30℃. Enormous change in just one day.
I'm off to school now, and after to the cottage.

    Wish you all lovely day.

As ever, your kindliness is such a big support that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Late last night I heard from my nephew with an update on his Dad. He had been transferred from the hospital in St Helens and moved to the Walton Centre in Aintree where a blood clot was successfully removed from his brain and then he was returned to St Helens. His wife and daughter went to see him and he was able to talk to them and move his left arm. I am hoping for further positive news later today.

Ante, it was lovely again yesterday and first thing this morning I must get out and do some watering. Didn't quite reach 30°C though!

@Ladybird4 hope you are feeling better having a clearer picture of the situation and it does sound fairly positive. You have had a horrible shock so look after yourself hopefully time in your garden will help.
@Ante1 pleased you gave warmth and sunshine ☀️
Horrible day at work yesterday very busy and understaffed and customers so demanding and rude. We are all trying our very best but it’s obviously not good enough. People are coming in on their days off to help but we are still struggling.
Off today, no I am not going in, visit to a garden centre and then to see friends for lunch.
Fiancé is enjoying the new job especially now the kitchen has been deep cleaned.

Debs, it was a massive shock hearing that news yesterday and I will find much comfort in my garden today. I am so sorry that you have to put up with rude customers. You have a lovely visit to the GC and lunch with your friends. I love the sound of your busy fiancé - putting his stamp on the kitchen by getting it just the way he wants it - shiny as a new pin! I hope he is really enjoying his new (old?) job.

@Ladybird4 He is, people he likes and undemanding work plus the chance to do “specials” when he gets bored with the menu provided.
Hope you enjoy your garden today I prescribe a large glass of your favourite tipple later and maybe chocolate.
