    Morning Debs and SGL.
Debs, I hope that your customers are more polite than last week and that work is less stressful.
Lovely to see you SGL. After Tuesday's funeral and all the lovely memories that I'm sure were shared with you all, there will be poignant times when memories will overwhelm you. The first birthdays , the first anniversaries the first Christmases. You will find the strength to overcome these moments in the love of your family and the poppets who will prove to be the best medicine of all and your OH will live on in these small people. x

Thank you @Ladybird4 our wedding anniversary will be in a couple of weeks and Father's day this year will be painful for our boys. But we have so many wonderful memories to help us get through this.

    Hi all.
Weekly SM shop done and my, the prices are shooting up at a pace. Petrol is coming down whilst food is costing a lot more.
Nice to see you @star gaze lily. Early days yet, one day at a time as things start to settle down into a new normality. This is the time to lean on family and friends. Take care. Thinking of you.
The birds continue to scrape up the soil round the borders and paths, soil flicked everywhere....happens every year and every year I grumble!🫣😂

    Afternoon all.

SGL, it's so nice to see you. Take care of yourself and be with your family.

Hazel, I have the same problem with blackbirds. Every morning I find soil all over around, but they don't do any damage to the plants.

I came home few moments ago. Last two days I was at cottage every afternoon, and today I'll just rest. Last few days is quite warm, but I don't mind, because I can work outside.

  • Lily there’s a lot of good memories for you of your oh and special days will remind you ahead but always with you.  I send you hugs.  Dads been taken to a day unit at the hospital hoping he can get an Iv for pain relief he’s beyond himself and so tired.  Mums gone to bed to sleep and I’m just received her compost, luckily the delivery man lifted it in for me.  Ante enjoy a rest now.

I'll join Hazel and Ante with the foraging blackbirds. They absolutely love 'thrutching' about in the mulch and leaf litter under the shrubs in my garden. They know that this is where the little invertebrates that they feed on live. I love watching their activity.
Rosie that is such a worry about your Dad. It must be absolutely soul destroying to have to put up with ceaseless, intensive pain. I hope that they can find something that suits - and works! Very kind of the courier to lift the compost in for you.

  • Dad rang he’s being admitted he does not know the ward yet.  He’s had a long day.  Hope he gets some sleep.

Rosie, oh I am so sorry to hear about your dad. It is horrendous to be in constant pain, the level of tiredness and exhaustion must be so debilitating. I sincerely hope the hospital can offer some really good effective pain relief for him. Rubee  must be worried too. Please take care, he's in good hands. Hopefully you can both visit him tomorrow.
LB, have you heard how your brother is doing today? Such worrying times for some of you. My thoughts are with all those going through hard times for whatever reason. Hugs to all who need one.

Oh dear Rosie. That doesn't sound so good but he is in the best place to get some pain relief. My thoughts are with you and Ruby.
My brother was re-assessed today and to cut a long story short he is back home. Still a little weak down his left hand side. I was due to visit him but nephew told me not to bother today as there was this 'going home' possibility - though no times were known. At least when I do visit it will be to his home.
