Just popping in to say Hi,  hope you're all well.
Not read back really, but glad I've found the new thread.
Do hope @Rubee OH is ok.
    Lovely new thread pic @Ladybird4
It was pretty chilly this morning for May, but the sun appeared this afternoon. Not really very warm outside though. Grass in back garden is still too wet to cut and is quite long now. I think I'll have to get someone to do the first cut for me and then myself and the boys can keep on top of it.
    Take care everyone x
  • Citric acid powder is a marvel sprinkled a box over some hot water down the basin and left overnight and such a difference.  Warm afternoon here, tried to catch up on some sleep but didn’t manage it.  Good to have a warmer day.

Oh Yvie. What unpleasant experiences for you! I could feel my nose curling at your description of the smell in the marquee and what a horrible neighbour. It seems really weird that the replacement panel is tattier than the old one. Best to just ignore him!
SGL, how lovely to see you .People Hugging on Microsoft Teams It is definitely cooler here now and I'm thinking its about time I retrieved the cloth things from outside. Love to you and yours x
Rosie, that is a great handy tip!

I suspect the better panel is now in his back garden.

As I retrieved the cloth things from the garden, I noticed it was raining! It wasn't quite heavy enough to saturate my 'stuff' but I'm glad I got it in when I did.
I am signing out for tonight people. See you all in the morning. Have good evenings all.

LB, what a shock you'll have got with the mouse popping out! Crikey,  they get everywhere don't they?
Yvie,,oh what a horrible neighbour and on top of your disapppinting day at Malvern. I'm so sorry to hear that you can well do without it.
Quiet evening but we watched the new BBC drama Ten Pound Poms. Not to our liking so won't be watching it again. Tired now so going to sign off for now.

Has everyone finished the new series of Father Brown now? Thoughts?

Hello there one and all. Hazel, I watched some of the new Father Brown series but I guess I'm an old - oops - young stick in the mud and I cannot 'take' to the new characters. Absolutely loved the old ones and I stopped watching this latest series.

  • Morning Hazel and LB.  Hazel haven’t seen the new Father Brown but loved the old one.  It’s a sunny morning.  I was up early but dozed off.

Good morning all. I spent all day yesterday in the garden and managed to sunburn my shoulders. Ouch! Got a lot done though and Graham was out all day exploring everything and seemed happy. All holiday washing done and dry. Fiancé starts “new” job today back at the pub in Didmarton. It should be a lot easier in every way. He had a day out on his motorbike yesterday so he is a happy bunny.
I am back at work later looking forward to seeing everyone and chatting about my adventures.
