LB good to hear brother is sitting up after his op. Hope he can get some rest. Yvie hope you don’t feel too uncomfortable after your fall.  Called at the chemist and had a walk in the light breeze.  Hazel hope your plants will settle now they’ve been moved.  Had warm pastries for tea. Rosie
Glad to hear the better news about your brother LB. That’s good.Â
Yvie, ouch! We’ve all done it. Hope there’s not too much bruising or aching tomorrow. What a palaver with Boots. Three times and they are out. You did the right thing there. Not good enough.Â
Good morning everyone .I woke and thought it was time to get up.When looked at the clock it was 4am .The sky is the most gorgeous shades of red.Love to see the beginning of a spectacular sunrise.I hope that LBs brother had a good night .I am going to try to get a little more sleep now .
Morning Rubee and all. Â Just washed and dressed. Â LB hope your middle brother slept well and you too. Â Watching a drama starring Suranne Jones I think the third part meh be tonight. Â Lilly thinking of you. Â Fell asleep on the sofa.
Good morning Ruby, Rosie, and all later arrivals. No further updates on my brother so everything must be satisfactory. Fingers crossed.
Â
I hope Yvie is not to achey after yesterday's trip up. I will be in 'hover' mode until my toilet arrives (sometime between 09:00 and 16:00) and, as usual, I hope the delivery is sooner rather than later. Another gardening day in prospect.
Ruby, remember the old saying 'Red sky in the morning .........'
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning all, few jobs to do this morning before work.Â
Can any of you clematis lovers help? I planted 3 clematis up against the trellis and one of them is beautiful covered with flowers ( it’s only a baby but it’s 4 foot quite bushy and flowering) the other 2 have been decimated by slugs or snails barely clinging to life tiny green stalks no leaves. What should I do? I was thinking dig up, pop into pots and nurse them on until big enough to cope with critters? I never had much of a slug problem after I applied nematodes years ago but I think more are required as this wet spring has been heaven for them.Â
