Good morning all, perfect day in the sunshine yesterday spent all day in the garden and it’s looking better. Graham enjoyed it too, ate lots and exploring everything. I noticed that when I stood still or sat down for a drink he soon came over to me and stayed by my feet. Such a cutie!
@Ante1 I must ask what do you use sage syrup for? It sounds like something my son would put into one of his exotic cocktails.

Certainly is. I'm off to church, while my wife is taking a Russian friend (anti-Putin) to a village nearby that has an open gardens day. Gives the lady a chance to see English gardens in all their glorious splendour.

    Elevenses time! Morning @debs64, @Rubee and @rowlandscastle444
Debs, that is so cute of Graham! Can you not fit a teeny tray on his back and train him to fetch you a G&T now and again?
Ruby, I am gardening today. I want to look at re-vamping my garden so I can plant my new roses into the ground as opposed to pots. I am a lot worried about my Japanese acer as large parts of it are leafless and looking dead. It could be the freak weather over the last year but I'm going to research how long these trees can live as maybe its just old age.

    Good morning all.

It's French Mother's Day today, usually the last Sunday in May but this year Pentecost was early so it was changed.

We've just been to the monthly flea market in a local village. What a load of old rubbish! We enjoyed looking though.

No church this morning, Evensong this evening so we'll go to that.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Ante I enjoy peaceful Sundays too.  Popped to sm with dad, a short distance, his first outing since hospital.  He was tired but glad to have some fresh air.  I can hear the birds tweeting LB a lovely sound.  I’ve baked a whole meal loaf and finished unpacking the shopping and made some tea.  The sun had gone in before we went out.  I definitely needed a lightweight coat.  Rosi

Afternoon all. Lazy day here, bit too cool outside to do anything in the garden.
Rosie, thank you, things are easing a little as days go by, haven't heard anything back from hospital youth. Good to hear your dad has had a walk, fresh air will do him good.
Hope  everyone is having a pleasant day.
