Good afternoon all. Hazel we didn't see any glass blowing this time - in one way I was very pleased as it was so hot! Debs - super picture of Graham. Thank you for sharing it. I've just come in from the garden having had a good watering session in the shady areas. Lily is sunbathing, bless her. My tomato plants are looking good. I had to nip over the road to have a cuppa with Jack and it was nice to spend some time with him. He was getting ready to watch the F.A. Cup Final this p.m.

That's where my OH is right now LB, watching the Final. He's enjoying it. I've watched a little of the tennis this afternoon, can't wait for Wimbledon this year.
Its been lovely and bright today but still have that cold chilly breeze. One of the dahlias had lots of black fly on one stem and there was plenty of aphids on the rose we've bought this year. Soon squished off👍
Debs, lovely picture of Graham, looks as if he's enjoying himself.

What a beautiful day . Had  several hours in the garden.Found a tall campanula hiding behind some bushes .Transplanted it to a more appropriate position. Planted on some plug plants and generally tidied up . I decided to read for a while ,too hot outside .I have just woken up after a couple of hours sleep. Not much reading done .I hope everyone is enjoying the sun.
  • Had a snooze this afternoon which was very welcome.  Hazel lovely and bright here too.   LB I’m sure Lilys had a lovely time sunbathing.  They find all the best places.  Lounging on the bed after putting the last wash on Lilys tv.  Great to have a warm day.  Rosie

Glad you had a sleep Rosie. I don't think I'll be long out of bed tonight. I've just finished in the garden after a lovely day.

Hi folks thanks for the good wishes.  Had a good nights sleep last night with the wrist support so hoping it bodes well.
Spent the day at Compton Verney with Secondborn and the boys.  I'm very tired feel like we walked miles.  The art exhibition we went to see was Quentin Blake who illustrated the Roald Dhal books.  The grounds are beautiful too.

Hello there Yvie. I'm pleased that you managed to get some sleep despite the wrist injury and what a lovely day you have had today for your visit. Did you get any inspiration from the Quention Blake exhibition? I am signing out for tonight and I'll see you all in the morning.

    Good morning all.

I have my cup of tea on balcony. It's lovely and sunny morning, and Linden tree in garden is packed with bees. It sounds like engine. Today should be and easy day, I only need to cook sage syrup. Last night I soaked sage flowers in water.

Wish you all nice and relaxed Sunday!

Good morning Ante and all arriving later. It is also a beautiful morning here Ante and the birds have been singing - a lovely sound to greet the day. I have my cup of tea - sadly no balcony - but I will still enjoy it.

Morning LB. I love Sunday morning because there is no much traffic, and I can enjoy in peace and silent. Lovely Snoopy cartoon.
