Good morning debs, Rubee and all to follow.

It's finally weekend, but I have several plans for cottage next two days. Rain is forecasted whole next week, and I'll try to finish some jobs before rain comes. Thank you all on kind words regarding my work, but it's only little bit harder last three weeks. As you know, weather didn't permit any kind of work till mid May, so now all comes at the same moment.
It's beautiful morning, I have my tea, pets are fed and day can start.

    Wish you all lovely weekend.

  • Morning all.  Yvie I hope your wrist soon feels better.  Ante it looks like rain here too after a sunny afternoon yesterday.  Baked a mixed grain loaf yesterday which browned nicely.  Lilys tv today just popped on the first wash.  Half asleep presently.  Rosie

    Morning all.

I hope your wrist is better in time for your holiday Yvie.

Sunny this morning, thunder storms this afternoon.

We are going to visit an Open Garden this afternoon. It's owned by the secretary of the gardening club. I've been there before for a Rose Group meeting. Not open this morning, I hope the forecast storms hold off this afternoon.

    Morning all,
I hope your wrist soon feels better, @Yviestevie and that you won’t miss your painting holiday.
It’s on the cloudy side at the moment, though trying to brighten, and we are forecast another sunny and warm day, so Lily’s tv is on.
Got some plants to pot up today as well.
🤞those storms hold off @Busy-Lizzie so you can enjoy the open garden.

A very good morning one and all. Friend from Crewe has just left to get home. We had a super time yesterday. The place we went to for our lunch was part of a complex with Glass making, jewellery making, artisan bakeries and coffee shops and a petting animals section (loved that - saw lots of ducks and ducklings, goats, sheep, pigs and hens) and the food was delicious.
It is looking glorious outside and I need to get out soon and water.
Hazel, yes definitely best not to aggravate your joints - soak up some sunshine!
Red maple, we all do it don't we - thinking I'll just do a little bit more and then regretting it the next day?
Yvie, I was sorry to hear about your injury. You take care of that wrist so that it is better for your holiday.
Debs, just keep going with your head down as someone like that could be very vindictive with rotas etc. if you were to confront them.
Ruby, its in the garden for us today I think!
Ante, I am glad that you are on top of all your major tasks now and can enjoy the better amount of freedom you have now to do further jobs at the cottage.
Rosie, I could just do with some of your bread. I can smell it from here!
Busy, as others have said I hope that you manage to get around the Open Garden with having to deal with thunderstorms.

Good morning all. The  sun has returned but the breeze hasn't so have to pick where to go in the garden to get the warmth! Feeling rather tired this morning so think a lazy day is in order. The  garden is bursting out all over giving that overgrown look ( loved by OH) but with it has come aphids and black fly and the spider mites are out in their 100's.😬 Time of year though so hopefully with a bit of hand picking and squashing all will be well.
LB glad you had a good time yesterday, that place sounds really nice . Could you actually watch people glass blowing? The animal section sounds right up your street.
Busy, hope you have an enjoyable afternoon at the open garden, good chance for a nosey around😂 How is your cold today? Easing off at all?
Rubee, how is your Oh this morning? Any better? Hope you are looking after yourself too.
Ante, yes, you have to take the opportunities when they come round so good to hear you're on top of all the ground work now.Try and finish before the rains come and that will help them all settle in.
Yvie, oh that sounds nasty and painful. I have a wrist support which is marvellous when my joints go berserk, so hope the splint, which sounds as if it will be stronger around the wrist for support, should help sort things out, Fungers crossed all will be well for your painting holiday.
Red Maple, know the feeling, do too much ( mind you that hedge work you've done was a big job well done but perhaps too much all at once?) one day and then suffer the next. Gluttons for punishment  we all are!!😂 Hope the sun comes out later on for you for potting on and hanging material,on the string thing🤭
Rosie, that bread sounds delish! If there's any spare toss  it down  Al's tunnel and we'll help you eat it up!😊
