Rosie, we must be on the same wave length, I, too, have been thinking it's Friday today!
Busy,, lovely pic and quite a nice surprise to see the lizard in the borders.
LB, 23's favourite game at the moment is Snakes and Ladders! We are all getting quite adept at it. Very frustrating though isn't it? Yes,  we did get to mums but it was very stressful.
Ive had a nice soak in the bath tonight, joints feel so much more relaxed.
Off for an early night and hope for a better day tomorrow.
    Goodnight all.

Good morning one and all. It is the monthly Quizzers meal today and my friend from Crewe is coming up today and stopping over. I haven't seen her for a while so I expect that there will be a lot of hot gossip.
Sorry that you had such a stressful day Hazel and glad that the 'soak' helped with your PR.

Good morning all. Work seems to be calmer but I think that’s because we have nobody on holiday and that changes from Monday so we will see, everyone rather stressed as our old senior who we all dislike, is coming back early July. It’s been so lovely not having to put up with her laziness and inefficiency and also her patronising tone and bossiness. I foresee trouble ahead!
Glad to hear @Rubee has her OH home and can look after him and his condition is improving.
@Ladybird4 I will tell fiancé to put fish and chips on the menu at work, it’s one of his favourite dishes.

Good morning @debs64 . Ooh yes, good idea to let your fiancé know that little gem. Lots of publicity on the TV from Blackpool this morning - really made my mouth water! You have a month ahead of you where you don't have to put up with that senior so make the most of it. Is this senior your Boss?

    Morning all.

I'm glad your OH is feeling better today @Rubee.

    Sunny outside.

Just heard that 2 of OH's old friends, who lived in France when OH and his first wife retired to France, have died. One had returned to England and his funeral is today. The other one, I knew him too, lived in France and his funeral is next week.

Sunny again. Short storm last night but not much rain. Gardening this morning.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
